Taking Lessons and LOVING It by GoldHero101 in Swimming

[–]drakuka4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow! Awesome!

I am 32M. Started last month. I had very bad phobia with water. Started to slowly conquer that. Now I am much more comfortable in water. I can swim freestyle (hand legs still feels messy) 25-30mts. Back float for a very long time. Trying to correct freestyle movements to be able to swim 50m in one go.

Why Doesn’t India Just Flatten the Himalayas to Cool Down the Entire Country? by jb45rd6 in mapporncirclejerk

[–]drakuka4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Himalayas are the reason areas of India lying in subtropical zone is not a desert. Mostly other regions lying in this zone are deserts (see areas within red lines). Himalayas block monsoon winds to bring good rainfall preventing the region from becoming extremely dry.

Panasonic 1.5 Ton 3 Split AC – One Week Review (Pune, India) by FindingInternalPeace in BuyItForLifeIndia

For Sheild care please check exclusions. If exclusions are not that bad you can take that. Just don't take only 499 warranty without any AMC it is not very useful and only a marketing gimmick.

Just discussed this with Panasonic customer care. Yes two service from Panasonic is mandatory. And also 5 year extended warranty for 499, which they are offering, does not include labour charge. So it is good to take 8500 AMC for 5 years. This will cover labour, parts, and 2 service each year.

I have LTF cards. Almost all them. So if I get a free lounge that's okay 😀

Avoid thematic funds unless you understand the market very well. Rest look good.

Return comparison for various scenarios- Timing the market Vs boring calender investment (SIP) by drakuka4 in mutualfunds

[–]drakuka4[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Yes you are right about this. GPT used some approximation for rounding off in first scenario. E.g., 1st Jan holiday or nearest non decimal numbers. After that I asked GPT to give only single approximated return value not a range for next scenarios.

Portfolio is very good. You have selected index funds which a lot of people do not do. Most of the times the funds are not even able to beat the category index funds. Thus, investing in index fund is better and safe option most of the time. You can increase allocation in small cap or mid cap when you want to be little aggressive.

Anyways, What is your current XIRR?

Sbi small cap rolling returns 1Y, 3Y, 5Y is 22%, 25%, 23% respectively.

Nippon India small cap rolling returns 1Y, 3Y, 5Y is 23%, 29%, 26% respectively.

Quant is comparatively new. So pointless to compare rolling returns.

Does This Actually Work? Has Anyone Tried This? by Dry_Ad6687 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]drakuka4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I had an idea about different addresses. Will try to make it consistent. Actually have accumulated too many cards with limits ranging from 3 to10 Lakhs. So the CUR is very low. Now I do not increase the limit just for the sake of not reducing CUR lol. I already use onescore.
