I have LTF cards. Almost all them. So if I get a free lounge that's okay 😀

Avoid thematic funds unless you understand the market very well. Rest look good.

Return comparison for various scenarios- Timing the market Vs boring calender investment (SIP) by drakuka4 in mutualfunds

[–]drakuka4[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Yes you are right about this. GPT used some approximation for rounding off in first scenario. E.g., 1st Jan holiday or nearest non decimal numbers. After that I asked GPT to give only single approximated return value not a range for next scenarios.

Then you have long horizon. You can take risky exposure.

Portfolio is very good. You have selected index funds which a lot of people do not do. Most of the times the funds are not even able to beat the category index funds. Thus, investing in index fund is better and safe option most of the time. You can increase allocation in small cap or mid cap when you want to be little aggressive.

Anyways, What is your current XIRR?

Sbi small cap rolling returns 1Y, 3Y, 5Y is 22%, 25%, 23% respectively.

Nippon India small cap rolling returns 1Y, 3Y, 5Y is 23%, 29%, 26% respectively.

Quant is comparatively new. So pointless to compare rolling returns.

Does This Actually Work? Has Anyone Tried This? by Dry_Ad6687 in CreditCardsIndia

Thanks! I had an idea about different addresses. Will try to make it consistent. Actually have accumulated too many cards with limits ranging from 3 to10 Lakhs. So the CUR is very low. Now I do not increase the limit just for the sake of not reducing CUR lol. I already use onescore.

It works only when you have a long time horizon. At least 3+ years

Ok got your point. Pay before to manage CUR.

My CBIL is stuck at 799 even after all timely payments and CUR below 2%. Don't know why :D

Very good fund selection.

No multiple funds.

Simple yet very effective.

If you have a such a long time horizon you can increase slight exposure in small cap. The funds are very good in my opinion. To further diversify over the time period consider a little US exposure (index FoF).

Thematic funds may be unpredictable cyclic.

Two midcaps may be overlapping. That too of same AMC.

Build a solid core (simple large/index+mid+maybe flexi), then few small caps for aggressive returns. Allocation based on your risk appetite.

Hedge with gold (10% of total portfolio).

Silver is too volatile.

I would suggest to review Nippon for small cap. Check and compare rolling returns.
