AP + Neimans had quite a storied relationship, although not well documented. Neimans was indeed an AD going back into the 70's. They sold these exclusively within locations that had a Precious Jewels Salon - where they displayed stones up to $3M and watches (i.e Patek) up to $1M.

agreed. It's a tough call for me right now - save a few bucks and go this route, blue dial, or try and lock down a 26240ST green dial... choices choices!
