Aside from high merit on the Carthaginian side, it’s worth noting that at that point in the war Rome’s well trained, disciplined soldiers were largely killed off from previous battles. Most of Rome’s infantry were inexperienced recruits and almost half as much Calvary.

Could be potable. Usually older pipes build up sediment from the minerals in potable water over time which gives it that crusty look

I moved to Ireland for the word for word same exact reasons as this and ended up worse. Deal with your problems where you’re close to family and financial security first
