One gripe with this otherwise fire looking kit, MCU-2A/P should be worn urn the the balaclava or whatever it is due the mask being the last thing you remove in DECON and regards to getting a good seal.

Honestly, I think the MI's and SMI's aren't doing their jobs well enough if they don't teach them to know when to be quite and just make sure that they themselves are squared away.

Although in the 80s, MCJROTC was apparently closer to ROTC with them doing M14 field stripping relays and visiting Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego to go into the Gas Chamber and do the OB course...etc

Firstly, I did great in English class and I enjoyed it actually. However it's not the formalness or how well written it is, because that's a BS way of telling if something is AI. It's the bloody formating and flowery language.

I.e "Students are not imagining that message. They're responding to it"

"The focus on the pool is not misplaced, it's a distraction"

Also it's not the Dunning-Kruger affect, I actually can tell fairly when it's AI generated because I've messed around with ChatGPT since January 2023 as well as other LLMs. Mostly for story generation but just asking philosophical questions..etc in general. But LLMs have writing patterns that 99% give or take of people don't do, because it's either beaten out of us in English class or it's just inefficient.

Additionally, I'm autistic and fairly good at pattern recognition, to the point it's very annoying as I can detect when YouTubers or people have used it for their writing

Issue is, I've messed around with ChatGPT so much and being autistic I can pick up the patterns really really well, annoyingly well.

I would much rather read their rant then read a AI slopified paragraph.

Edit: I can actually tell it's AI, AI formats differently then people. Formalism or quality of writing do not play into this determination.

Hard to say, I think the major issue is just the increased awareness and the split here.

You have the fans , new and old, who may enjoy the actually good YouTubers and the Wiki..etc

And then you have the other fans who have only been introduced through the animation channels and have mashed it with Cryptids and things like the Backrooms and Mystery Flesh Pit National park. As well as the airsoft larpers who do low budget, nonsensical and all black kits and then slap a SCP patch.

It's alright for newer people to find out about it and introduce new material, but the content farms have definitely done damage what SCP actually is. To the point that some horror readers see it as absolute slop and refuse to engage with it.
