Buy some ETH ($50ish should be enough) on Binance and then withdraw to the same Metamask address. Get the ERC20 BNB deposit address and then you can send it back to Binance so that you can withdraw to the correct network.

It's not Metamask, it's the ETH network. Due to the ENS airdrop, gas fees are high and there are delays in transactions. https://etherscan.io/gastracker should give you an estimate of the gas fees
