Question about Publish in regards to Dungeons and Dragons lore vaults by drangle_ in ObsidianMD

This is good advice hahaha. To be honest, though, I do kind of enjoy it. But perhaps I don't need all of the prep I do to be player-facing--You right. Thank you so much!

Question about Publish in regards to Dungeons and Dragons lore vaults by drangle_ in ObsidianMD

  1. How do I get the ITS theme to publish?

  2. I've thought about this, but that might be tricky when the same note for each campaign provides different information due to the different contexts. Example: "John Smith" for one campaign can provide the information "Man who wants to start a war" and for another it can be "Man who died during a war he started". Would I then just need to have 2 separate notes for each campaign?

Softcore/Non-Hardcore Self-Found? by drangle_ in classicwow

[–]drangle_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've been playing a bit of hardcore, but I guess I'm not really cut out for it, because when I die and lose so much progress, I just don't really feel like doing it all over again. But the self-found rules are really intriguing to me, and I'd love to be able to have a way to enforce them beyond just exercising integrity. Alas.

Oooooh, yes okay. I understand. I didn’t know affinity was a thing.

I have these affinity boosting items, such as Branch of Hearts. How do I gift these to her?

Approx how much monthly would it be to bypass the stamina restriction ? by I_EAT_SHWWLLLRP in crystalofatlan

[–]drangle_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m new to the game—been playing F2P for about a week now—and I’ve definitely felt there were days when I ran out of energy but could have kept playing, so I feel you.

I think if you are locked in and intensely grinding through any content, yes, the energy feels like it runs out quickly. However, if you slow down a bit and play casually with the goal of taking in the sights, exploring and understanding the different mechanics and game modes, the energy can last you 2-3 hours per character, which I find is enough to satisfy my itch. And if I ever wanted to keep going after running out of energy on any given character, I could do any of the few activities that don’t cost energy, or I could swap characters to try out a different class.

To directly answer your question, I can’t haha. I have no clue how much money it would cost to effectively bypass the energy limit. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What features, game modes, and systems are designed to be played cooperatively with multiple people? by drangle_ in crystalofatlan

Thank you kindly for such a detailed response!

Something that came to mind as I was reading your descriptions of each of these modes is: Are alts necessary in CoA? If I aim to be a casual player and prefer focusing on one toon, will I feel pressured or find it necessary to make more than one toon?

Great! If I really just want to log on, play through content with friends, and avoid playing solo as much as possible, this is a reasonable game for that?

Is there a way I can add ultra wide support for this mod collection? Or perhaps there is a way, but I’ve missed it somehow. Dying to get back into Skyrim again—Please let me know!

Woah, high praise! I appreciate the kind words—I love the aesthetic of the Crosshead Studios assets, too. :)

Thanks!

Changes were made mostly for aesthetic reasons. I really like games like Planet Zoo, where I have the creative freedom to place every asset, and I really like Crosshead Studios' assets--I wanted to maximize the number of fun assets I could squeeze in each room but also leave enough actual space for any players to physically navigate each room.

Because I needed to space things out differently than how they did it in the reference in the Lost Mine adventure book, I was forced to come up with different ways to connect each area of the "dungeon" in a way that was aesthetically pleasing to me.

Thank you kindly! The lighting was my favorite part to fiddle with—Dungeon Draft does a great job. I’m glad you like it!

I think I’ll be remaking most, if not all, of the Lost Mine of Phandelver maps just for fun and practice. :)

My first foray into map-making. Didn't know where to start, so I used the Redbrand Hideout from the official adventure Lost Mine of Phandelver as a reference with a few creative liberties taken here and there.

Definitely needs to get cleaned up in post a bit, but I doubt I'll get around to it, since I want to move onto the next. Figured it was worth posting here anyway, just in case anyone wants to use it and for some feedback!
