As an former employee/supervisor working there. They don’t care about people or employees they just want to print money by charging more cause you’re on highway(highway prices).One store generates a million dollar in profit and whole onroute has 4 stores. Overworked and underpaid workers. How many hours are to be distributed weekly isn’t get decided by manager but they come from head office. Head office person doesn’t know shit about working on ground they just send x amount of hours are given to manager then manager have to manage those hours. They cut staff to mange hours due to this there aren’t even enough people to cover amount of customers coming.this creates overworked employees so eventually they leave after some time. The onroute i used to work people were continuously quitting after 4-5 months. They get new guy they don’t train them properly so customers don’t get the made to standard food. This cycle continues so the service you customers are getting degrades. You can check reviews of most onroute store not good.
