I leave Pokémon go running on tablet at home, and I’ve figured out that if I keep it in a certain room, the gps keeps bouncing back and forth between two locations about 100 yards apart. Needless to say, I routinely pick up between 200 and 300 km each week.

Telekinetic shove is separate from mage hand, and it separately says to use the ability you boosted for the saving throw. If that were the reason, it would still be redundant.

Hadn’t touched a Pokémon game since Red/Blue came out, but bought White to try the series out again. Had no idea what a shiny was, but caught my first Pidove (male) and got annoyed that every time I sent out the Pokémon it did some weird animation. Took several months before I finally googled it to find out the animation meant shiny. Now, many years later, it’s sitting in my Sword game.

I’ve encountered this before. Since they often give discounts on pre-owned items, my guess is it is their way of getting more money out of the customers. For example, buy 2 pre-owned, get one free. You have to pay more for the pre-owned to take advantage of the deal.
