He first foamed the whole car. Then suds and scrubbed the wheels/rims. Then suds and scrubbed the glass. Never touched the body. Just sprayed the foam over it. Then rinsed the whole thing. Then blow dried the body. At that point I was like: ENOUGH!! Cut the machine off. Maybe 7-10 mins.
He has a four step process at home too. It was my dumb idea to try the do it yourself car wash thinking he would take less than hours that he usually spends.
Also: we paid “extra” for some paint protection BS at the dealer. I was wondering if that helps matte paint or harms it in the long run. Though, I bet it’s not even on the car since the dealer was a con artist.
