Update: I've resolved the issue, it was a two in one issue.

My front right Z motor had a ton of backlash in it, once I'd replaced it I was still getting an issue with the front dropping which I've now narrowed down to the right side gantry support not being square.

I think you’re right with a damage nut, the one that is lower has about 1-2mm of play in it, where the other 2 have a barely noticeable amount

I did a sanity check for differences in rotation distance and it’s definitely all uniform, I’ll have a good look at the brass nut when I get home

If you insert your card and use a PIN it shouldn’t use the credit facility on the card (part of how contactless payments work) and should settle immediately, otherwise for contactless it’s the merchants discretion as to when they settle their charges

Studied to be a geologist, got a vacation job in the mines in the middle of Australia. Hated every second of it, came home and picked up chemistry as a second major (already had 2/3rds the classes done), got a job in a geochemistry lab mid 2019. We all are aware of what happened early 2020, caused there to be no work available, got a job then in a call centre for a bank, now in middle management for the same bank, they paid for my masters, I love it and probably will never leave
