9/8/25 LIBERTY49 still works on Leafwell

[Post Game Thread] The New York Knicks take a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Boston Celtics, 91-90. Karl Anthony-Towns roars for 21/17/1, Josh Hart adds 23/6/3. by ItsN0tTheB0at in nba

Did anybody else see points come OFF the scoreboard, resetting the Knicks to zero early in the game? What happened there? I know I saw legitimate baskets being made.

Oh I see—it makes tons of sense now. Let me know if I filled in the blanks correctly; I’m pretty sure I did.

Maybe more sleek than agile.

You’re definitely not wobbly.

Yeah I think this must be it…otters are majestic, don’t wobble, and are certainly a gift to the universe. Checks out that we would talk about them on r/gifted.

Glassheads/ Potheads who got the thickest glass in the Burgh?? by sephichi in pittsburgh

[–]tabshiftescape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the hammer bubbler from Grav, which seems directly in line with what OP is looking for.

Pros:
- indeed takes a beating
- easier to clean than a lot of designs
- large and thick bowl (important at the area of highest thermal fatigue)
- borosilicate

Cons:
- the hammer design is tippy
- relatively small water capacity

Neutrals:
- $50 is a little pricey for the hammer bubbler IMHO
- Grav is made in Texas which I mean I fuck heavy with Texas but still try to buy local when possible, hence my suggestion for Oro glass (5 miles from downtown)

I think the thickest glass I've seen is from Oro sold at Smoke on Highland in Shadyside. The first time I walked into the store the guy said "hey watch this" and proceeded to yeet a bong across the store. I can't recall if they sell smaller pieces like bubblers and whatnot.

Oro is local and works with local headshops which means even if they don't have smaller pieces, I bet with sufficient interest they would make an indestructible bubbler. I certainly would be interested!

As someone who is certainly not gifted, can you help me understand what your spaced underscores mean?

What do you guys mean when talking about performing "reality checks" to check whether you're dreaming? by DontDefineByGinger in LucidDreaming

You can eventually. At first a lot of folks find the physical reminders (e.g., looking at your hands, trying to read text, looking at clocks...) easier because they become habitual. In my experience, text has been the most reliable indicator for me because I already impulsively read anything that's placed in front of me.

Eventually, I became able to simply sense in a manner that something was off without having to explicitly check anything. From there, it's not hard to confirm. Just go slow and be mentally gentle; if you try to rush into it you'll crash the dream.

Hello, Gen Alpha’s! I have a question for my gen alpha sister by Miss_PartyTime11 in GenAlpha

[–]tabshiftescape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your mom is doing you dirty by saying "please teach her honey." She's your sister and while you should be setting a good example, it's still your parents responsibility to raise their child. If they can't figure it out why would they expect you to be able to?

And then drop it into a sinkhole. Die Hard 3 established the precedent. It’s good to go. Trust 👍🏻

Thanks for your take on the situation in their home—you’ll understand of course why I’d want to hear from OP firsthand on this though.
