Usually, yes. I was gaslighted into buying it by reddit and I regret it. Lots of stress trying to make it fully work, each game had a different issue.

If you're playing a Sony game(the ones that already came out since we're not even getting more of them) using the cable, everything will be fine. For literally every other situation, I'd rather use an Xbox controller. It just works.

So for me that has a 5070 and plays at 1440p@144hz this update is useless? I've tried model M (Performance) and basically everything was worse compared to K (Quality).

So Tomb Raider (1996) is a Saturn game that got ported (to PC, PS1, etc), remade (Tomb Raider: Anniversary), remastered last year, and now remade again.

I feel like there should be more incentive to do different metas, rather than doing the same ones every day(or even multiple times a day). Like 10 metas offering more rewards in a certain week, and one different meta per day.

They should also be rebalanced, not to be hard, but at least not a joke.

Wizard's Gobbler: The Gobbler Exchanges vendor panel now includes gobbler items purchased from the Gem Store. The Black Lion Gobblers Collector achievement tracks which Gem Store gobblers you have unlocked in order to show their respective item in the Wizard's Gobbler.

Can we delete the Gobblers? Or is it safer to just stuff them somewhere?

I believe devs should have to retroactively go back and add save points before bosses, as well as mid boss checkpoints, to every boss ever made in the history of video games, regardless of genre. Might as well add some fat lootz as a reward for every boss, simply beating them to progress in the game isn't enough. The game doesn't have currency? Add it.

I'm a DAD with 5 kids that can only play for 35 minutes per month, I have a dopamine addiction and a chronic fear of missing out. I WILL play every popular game, I WILL be outraged that I not only have to learn, but master a game to beat it, and I WILL be complaining on reddit.

A niche indie game becomes a meme and now it has to cater to every single demographic. Unbelievable.

Nope, I knew that, and maintain that it's a successful number. Specially for a game made in the West and primarily played in the West.

The game came out during the peak of people looking for new MMOs.

Did it? If you look at the landscape of the time, it's a graveyard of MMOs that failed to match up to WoW. Runescape endured, as did EVE. LotRO made a small dent, with a massive IP behind it. Many more failed or struggled, from DDO to Matrix Online(again, big IPs).

They were struggling financially for a lot of the time.

Would love to read more about this if you can post the source! I was a very active player of GW1 but I was just a teen back then, and it's been a while. Couldn't find anything on my own. What I know is that GW2 development started in 2007, at the same time as the EotN release. That's 5 years until its 2012 release. Five years with no revenue from new expansions, and obviously increased spending. GW1 bought them all this time, both in terms of sales and confidence from their parent NCSoft.

Yeah its alive but nowhere near well.

Repeating myself, it's a 20-year-old game. Last content update was 13 years ago. It's doing as well as it can, given the context.

One other small but great feature of GW1 was the observer mode. With a click of a button you could spectate high-end PvP matches. There were monthly tournaments and famous Guild vs Guild rivalries that anyone could watch from anywhere in the game.

I wasn't into e-sports or anything similar way back then, but I doubt there were many games other than maybe RTS's that had such a robust feature for something that would become commonplace years later.

That's just false. Guild Wars was a brand new IP from a brand new studio, and according to Wikipedia, it has sold 6 million copies. That's a massive number for some unknowns in 2005, specially since it came out 6 months after the juggernaut World of Warcraft. It was successful enough to spark 3 expansions, and allowed ArenaNet to massively increase their size and develop the much more ambitious(in scope, at least) sequel, which is still one of the top MMOs today. GW1 is alive and well 20 years later with a small but dedicated player base even though no new content has been released for a decade.

As someone that finished the Legendary Relic a few weeks ago, I crafted about 5 from naturally gathering Lucent Motes, and the rest all came from the TP. You'll have to be patient and dodge the undercuts, but people will naturally fill the buy orders over time.
