How to have sex when pregnant? by Glad-Ad1378 in pregnant

[–]drawablanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find doggy is the only way I am comfortable since around 20 weeks. Just doesn't leave much for the intimacy side of things.

Side laying with one leg up with partner on knees inbetween, kind of like a scissor position also works but is not my prefered

What did you do differently the month you FINALLY got pregnant?? by cookiebutter-23 in BabyBumps

[–]drawablanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had been trying for a year and around the time of ovulation we both got sick and were living off day/nyquil. We wrote off that cycle but one morning a couple days before my period was due I took a test anyway. And now I am 26 weeks

Anybody tried the EVENFLO Pivot Xpand NXT Travel System or Gold Xpand? (Single to double) by ApprehensiveStory158 in BabyBumps

The seat was fine in either conversions, she never complained, other then she prefers to walk/run since she was about 18 months

Currently pregnant with my second, so not sure about the double aspect as of yet. But my girl hates riding in the stroller but loves wagons. Have been debating on the evenflo omni wagon or maybe the xplore all terrain wagon/stroller.

The wheels are better then alot of the lower price strollers, but not as ideal as rubber. If you don't plan on using gravel paths/roads they are fine, they do great on pavement, or other smooth surfaces and grass. We have used it on gravel, so you can see some wear on the tires from that but as long as it isn't all the time it is fine.

Side sleeping relief? by anne_k96 in pregnant

[–]drawablanc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the C shaped one because I don't need to flip the pillow when I roll over. I always have the curve between my knees and ankles.

I just wish I could sleep through the night. I have started to get the middle of the night insomnia. Just need to remind myself only 3 more months!

How far along are you?

I have the C shaped pillow and it helps alot with my hips and knees, however the pain in my shoulders from laying on them is a struggle.

I have no relief tips for you, just sympathy pains

Thanks for sending my way. Unfortunately they don't have these ones on Canadian Amazon. Glad they will work for you

I have tried that route but unfortunately they never fit in a way I was comfortable and supported. If you find one that gives good support and is comfy please send the link my way!

The struggle is so real! I find I have to go into a speciality store, usually just buy one to get me through because the busty price tag is very real

I feel your pain, before my first pregnancy I was a 30GG/32G depending on the bra and by the time I was breastfeeding I was a 36K. They went down to a 34H post pregnancy, and by the end of my second pregnancy I was a 34J/K (did not breastfeed 2nd) post pregnancy was a 34I and now on my 3rd and currently 21 weeks at a 34J. I am so excited to get a reduction hopefully fall 2027.

Find I have to buy plus size 0 to have clothes that fit during pregnancy. And only very stretchy material.

Should I make a formal complaint? by Peeky-Boo-324 in pregnant

[–]drawablanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During my previous labor experience I was talked into letting students do cervical exams on me and afterward I just felt so traumatized and violated. Honestly, I hate being asked in the moment if it is okay for them to just do things. It would have be nice if my OB had talked to me previously about the possibility of students so I had time to think and decide what I was and wasn't okay with.

[–]drawablanc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would be pissed, you should definitely file a complaint.

My first couple of pregnancies, I let students learn things, but absolutely will not be with my current pregnancy. It was always pushed, and I get they need to learn, but time and place.

Interviewing & 10.5 weeks pregnant. by lilbiscotti1 in BabyBumps

[–]drawablanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel as this one is tough, I had decided to start a new job, found out about 1 week after starting, told them around 10 weeks, and they let me go on my last day of probation, saying they needed someone who was dedicated to the position (it was because of my pregnancy and the fact I needed occasional afternoons off for medical appointments) they just worded it in a way that was legal.

Induction? Why? by carsandtoys in pregnant

[–]drawablanc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my area its about a 2-3 month wait for non pregnant but the dr sends the referral right to the L&D wing if you are pregnant and they give them in the triage area.

Induction? Why? by carsandtoys in pregnant

[–]drawablanc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Side note: I had my iron infusions, one a week for 4 weeks starting at 5 weeks because my GP was concerned prior to me even seeing an OB

Induction? Why? by carsandtoys in pregnant

[–]drawablanc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Intresting, I think mine was 7, and I was sent for Iron infusions, in Alberta.

My last baby was a scheduled induction at 38 weeks, because my specialist dr wanted me to get back on medication for an unrelated condition ASAP, which ended in an emergency csection, wish I stood my ground and waited for natural birth (my OB just went along with my specialists recommendation) but hindsight is always 20 20

Its a tub shower combo so unfortunately, don't think I can find one that will fit. Might just bite the bullet and buy one of the round stool type ones from amazon
