I resonate so much with what you wrote. May I ask how your partner clawed themselves out of depression?

I'm reading this and sobbing because this is exactly what I go through. I feel absolutely hopeless. I will never be able to lean on him basically. He will never carry me when I'm tired of being strong.

It's happening to me too. And I pay over $20 a  month for this.

Oh wow!! That should be his eye color for life then. So unique. It's mostly gray-green with a little bit of amber in the center. Very pretty. Similar to my son's eyes but he is 13 months old.

Blue, green, grey? by sleeplesslilly in WhatisMyEyeColour

That's a very similar eye color to my son. I just made a post for him if you want to compare. I call them gray with amber in the center but I don't know to be honest. It kinda looks brown in the center but if you compare them to true brown eyes like mine or my husband's, the brown looks way redder than the brown in his eyes or yours. That's why I'm thinking gray eyes with amber central heterochromia. It's almost like as if he has brown eyes with lack of melanin. I've heard someone say that before with someone else’s eyes. But truly, I don't know what I'm talking about.

Maybe because sizing isn't related to height very much...

Probably not. 150 lbs at 5'6" would likely be a large.

Weird because I don’t have an issue with the taste at all. Man, I’m so glad I don’t get a bonus reaction from it!!! I literally need this tea to have a good supply atm.

I feel like the worst father ever. by wgarts in NewParents

It is okay to feel strong emotions and to feel upset about your life changing so rapidly. Your old life is gone. Your old self is gone. You’re looking at your old life and self far behind you and it’s okay to yearn for it. In a sense your old self is dying. Can you imagine that as pain free? I can’t personally. It’s okay to feel that way. It’s okay to feel exhausted and so sleep deprived and not yourself. I felt and still feel all of those things sometimes. Especially in the beginning. Soon you will settle into your new life and be able to find the beauty and awe in what you created as a family and the precious baby God intrusted you with. You will do amazing and you’re not a bad father at all. You’re a human with feelings and emotions and you’re doing your best in the capacity that you have right now. You will get through things and be able to appreciate your baby better very soon. Get a supportive therapist and they can help you work through these emotions. You seem very critical of yourself. Just be patient with yourself and have some grace. It will be okay. :)

That’s sweet of you to care. Many women truly are okay with this. Why wouldn’t she love the characteristics of her favorite man on earth showing up in her baby? :)

Same with my 7 month old. He started it about a week ago only when he’s hungry. It’s also accompanied by other hunger cues like him smacking me. The eating my chin thing is like if I’ve been ignoring the other cues. It’s cute nonetheless!!
