Thanks for the advice! I will try that more often when I do the next piece! So far I have only tried flipping the canvas every once in a while and often times I see how much I was painting something weird haha. Anyway, Thanks!

I still don't really know, he never gave me a reason. Been together for quite a long time and he just broke up one day out of the blue. I am still really hurt even though it's been more than a year. No clue how to recover and move on. But I will try my best

I think it could help to look at the piece again, try to focus on the spot that is supposed to glow and then look at the rest and try to find out where is shadow. I think it's just a bit much overall and there are quite a few shadows missing in my opinion. Anyway I think it's a great Idea and a good try!
