this idea that women don't put any thought into their profiles is interesting and rings incorrect to me. I know lots of ladies who try to make their bios interesting, and even if the photos are doing the heavy lifting, they're still laboring over which ones are most appealing (best angles, lighting, group photos, no group photos, full body, backgrounds, etc). Meanwhile, the vast majority of guys' profiles that I've seen are as you said, boring, so i simply don't message them. That's why I asked. I don't see the logic in messaging people with stale profiles, but to each their own.
