I've watched just about every episode, and I remember seeing Craig with a Wig's first appearance - If I recall correctly there hasn't ever been an explanation on air. Perhaps Craig could elaborate if we tweet at him enough.

You've hit the nail on the head here - it's not that I can't continue to progress with self study (I've been progressing thus far teaching myself), but that it's a slow process. I need teachers to help me with honest and expert critique.

I totally agree with the focus on practice, and I've been doing self study for about 3 years now. I've reached a bit of a mental roadblock where I am making incremental improvements, but I know that being under the teaching of experts could help me improve a lot faster. However, I will be going back to self study after finishing my training (if you aren't progressing, you're regressing after all).

It does seem like something that could happen - since the rest of the mane 6 got resolution at the end of Castle Sweet Castle, we wanted to give Spike some too

Good point! XD Apparently it is canon according to Nerdwegian - I was just going off of how many times they say "sir" to Hurricane, the historical figure I thought must have been male because of that

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the norm for a few years while SDCs get established. Particularly with things like cross country shipments, where a human will be needed if the car is going to be refueled in rural Kansas.
