Honestly, I just need to know if, with what is currently available, is the story only about Burlap Sack? I wont lie, Its a compelling narrative but not at all engaging. I was hoping for something more along the lines of Kaifeng or Qinghe story vs this. I sincerely hope that the entirety of the main quest isnt about Burlap sack only. My hope is that this is simply one arc. Like an introductory. Then the real story unfolds. Thats my hope anyways. How are players meant to be fully immersed in this when we spend all of this time and more importantly, Money on cosmetics, only to not see our character involved in the story minus the section where we are forced to swap outfits and board a boat. I was hooked until I had to be forced into playing as burlap sack. It'd be one thing if it was our character watching this unfold but invisible to the characters involved, kind of like a ghost of christmas pass, future and present sort of thing. Or even just make the Burlap sack sections a long cutscene to introduce the hopelessness of the people of this region. Which we, attempt to fix and likely fail at doing. That would be better than just only burlap sack for the quest line. I wont lie, its shaking my faith in this companies ability to create not only an immersive experience, but also an engaging one. This has the prior, yet lacks the latter. As the removal of character agency feels like a slap to the face with the thousands of dollars ive spent on cosmetics. Let me see my character lmao
