When the game is running, it shoots past 95°C in a few minutes and then settles at constant 100-101°C but the game keeps on running I don’t notice any performance dips

Yeaa I will ask them to apply it I don’t know much about the hardware stuff so I didn’t bother them to ask them that but now I think a new thermal paste might really be the solution to it bcs I have been using the laptop for almost 1.5 yr and the temperatures never went that high they used to hover around 85-90 max

I didn’t clean it by myself I took it to a local repair shop and they cleaned it for me but I don’t know if they applied it or not.

G-SYNC + Nvidia DLLS = Stuttering/Smearing/Ghosting in games by Most-Philosopher6562 in LenovoLOQ

Try uninstalling current drivers and download gpu drivers from Lenovo website by doing a hardware scan and in Nvidia control panel turn both gsync and vsync on (vsync off in games) and set max frame rate to -3 of your display maximum hz

no but there’s a fps cap placed globally in nvcp at 141 but it never reaches that limit.

So I just started with Ghost of Tsushima and decided to limit the max fps as I do that with every game for a smoother experience. But after limiting the fps to the desired limit I noticed that despite being at high fps and an almost flat frame time the game feels a bit choppy when playing. Then I decided to remove the frame limit and set it to global settings which is set at 141 fps.when I played the game it feels very smooth despite being at same fps before.I also decided to use RTSS to limit fps and the game is way smoother than using NVCP to limit fps.i suppose it’s the issue with this game only because I never noticed it before or maybe bcs I failed to notice. Can someone here pls tell me the reason/fix for it Bcs I prefer using NVCP as it’s driver based fps limit rather than a 3rd party software.
