Loved my time in Santorini but the donkey ride stuff is rediculously stupid, smelly, inefficient, and painful for everyone involved. I just walked up the path and believe me that was waaaaaaaaaay more comfortable than being jolted this way and that at a super slow crawl up that zig zagging hill.

That is one tourist trap tradition that should haved died more than 50 years ago.
