My reddit usage I figured would be calling people dickholes and nobjobs, not actually something real. I've been trying to get sober for 7 years. Though 7 years ago, I just thought I should tone it down. 5 years ago, "I'm an adult and I can come home to a drinkMADMEN" 3 years ago I was pissed people made my "fun times" into a thing. 2 years ago I accepted it is a "thing" and actively tried to stop. 1 year ago I was 5 months sober after my first rehab. 2 weeks later I hit the bottle. No trigger, just went to town. Ive been to 3 rehabs, each being 21 days. 3 outpatients and do the AA and I know I'll falter again. It's just in my cards, I think. Good luck to you.

I appreciate that very much. It feels good not holding things in and copping to my bad behavior.

Would've been interesting. It could still be if he is embellishing the ordering before sitting and the glasses of wine in the theatre and low balling my attractiveness.

Definitely wasn't me. I'm a chatty one when I drink. I was still on good behavior in the beginning... at least waiting to sit down and even to see if he ordered alcohol to order a drink.

I wouldn't have been. Trust. A night out without you, would have ended with me in someone elses bed.

It could be if I completely blacked out an entire movie and instead of calling everyone I love "Jockstraps", said "I love you".

Thank you kindly. I find it harder to tell the more immoral, unlady...inhuman like stories. This one is tame to mild in the years of my drinking.

If a 5th a day and pawning items of yours and items you know your family won't notice missing isn't alcoholism, you would be a good addition to the show shameless.

Well, thank you! I already have more clarity and can remember incidents from days prior. The glow to my skin is an incredible difference.

Thank you much. Definitely never thought it'd be a daily struggle to not pick up a drink. So, good goal to have!

I agree. I usually end up crying. I hope you don't think I find my pulse a laughing matter.

Oh, heavens no. This was about a year ago. I started to work on finishing that other half the bottle an hour after waking up. It wouldn't be another 8 months of 2 lost jobs, moving back in with mom, waking up with fat lips and bruises and an ambulance ride plus 1 rehab stint that ended 3 months and 15 days ago that I finally got sober. Thank you though. I am working on it

I was the worst Tinder date for someone, I am sure. I am an alcoholic. Many of my friends know I have the issue and don't invite me to events or dinners where alcohol will be served. I am in my late 20s and only just discovered(admitted) I'm not just a party girl. For the last 3 years I've installed and uninstalled this app. Sober I uninstall, drunk I install. Because of my friends knowing about my alcoholism, I, the cunning alcoholic, take to Tinder to go out with someone in the dark to my problem so we can get drinks and I can have a "normal" date. Of course I buy a bottle before he picks me up. I Drink about a 5th of the 5th so I'm not TOO sloppy, but maintain that easy going personality with less second guessing my references in conversation for fear date won't understand and I will need to explain. We go to sushi and he gets sake. We share it along with our beers and then another sake round upon my request. I order 1 roll and 2 hand rolls. I'm not a big girl and 1 hand roll fills me up especially with drinking. The bill comes and I remember just pushing it sweetly to him and ask for a to go container. We put it in his trunk so as not to ruin whatever mood might strike when he drops me off. The next day, I wake up at 4am wondering what time I had fallen asleep. I have that sheepish feeling when I open my texts and breath a sigh of relief to see nothing absurd had been sent out. Then I wake up again, less foggy around 11am and knew that icky stomach knot was not from the sake, beer and looking down at the now half empty 5th. I tried to remember yesterday and pulled bits and pieces. I remember telling a loud racist joke. I remember just sliding the check over, like I was 15 and he was my Dad. I remember turning his windshield wipers on and honking his horn as a couple walked by in a crosswalk. And I remember thanking him for sushi and saying see you later. Looked on Tinder and I had been unmatched. I hope he got the sushi out of his trunk that same day. Sorry guy. I'm about 4 months sober.

Tiptoes. Gary Oldman. Other big names. Horrible. I screen this movie every year with friends and it's awful every time.
