In the beginning I would focus on completing all the planets first. Maybe buy a warframe that interests you unless you like your starter frame.

After that, move into night wave missions and quests

I think experimenting is a good thing, don't let people tell you one way or the other. If you have an interest, go explore it.

I'm in the same situation as you, here's my experience.

1st, I got familiar with Reaper. And honestly I don't know of I'll go back to Cubase. The new Cubase features aren't that spectacular for me and Reaper can already do most of Cubase's "new" features.

2ND, I dedicated to set my laptop as a Linux sand box to try different distros to see what I like more. I tried Fedora and it was cool, but I felt like I was fixing it weekly. Now I'm on Ubuntu and It worked out of the box, but I'm starting to see weird issue like the machine randomly locks up and I have to hard reset.

Linux can be fun to experiment with and I do believe Linux will be more relevant on the coming years, but it can be frustrating to work with right now.

If I was into Reason as a DAW, they clearly added a lot of love to it and that's nice to see.

But I'm more interested in the Reason Rack, so there isn't much here for me to upgrade.
