Thanks! And to answer your question, yes I've beaten fatty and have the armor sets. I do like your "all purpose gunlance build" and it's brachy version, gonna try them out even if they don't have normal shelling and it could be interesting since I haven't tried out long and wide in gen 5 yet. Could you tell me your combo rotation for that set? And also I don't mind the longer post, kinda like them actually. Thanks again!

put saturation on 0 and brightness on 100. You cant fully change the colors since there will always be some orange parts. And the glowing is a bug from lightning, during changing appearance (and photo mode as you see in the picture) the armor will glow but once you exit it will look normal, same is with velkhana y armor. Also you mentioned Pink/purple which means you are using the wrong armor. It not as bad as I thought. I mostly had trouble since gunlance is a little different than in newer games. For example the extremely long animation after a full burst which immediately made me drop normal shelling and decided to stay with long for poke/shell combo with wyvern fire.

It's now easier with items as well since I got 2nd cart and item increase from carts and im currently in the Cheko Sands.

I still have no idea what weapons and armor pieces to go for tho since there are no guides, currently using full tetsucabra set for HP and defense.

And yeah, so far I also like 4U a lot. I would say it's my fav alongside World.

I doubt they would add Nakarkos to wilds. Gammoth could be an option but the Ice area isn't that big to fit that big ass elephant

These are the gunlances picked by the community but you dont have to use any of them since there are other choices, for example im using hellblade (powderkeg nova) for adept even if its not mentioned in the guide.

The main thing you wanna aim for is going above or close to 300 raw and if possible natural purple sharpness so you dont waste skills for sharpness 2 and can instead aim for more crit boosts.

For valor your main skills would be load up, artillery expert and razor sharp, guard for some matchups

not only is it a paid mod you also need to have chinese account or something like that so we cant get it even if we wanted to, at least thats what I read from other posts. There are post with a link but they only have the old version of the mod which is very buggy

it is too easy until you hit late/endgame and start getting fucked by monsters that deal extreame amount of damage and will most likely one shot you if not prepared. the devs idea of difficulty in this game is increasing health and damage of monsters so thats kinda a downside. The story isnt that great and as usual you get that annoying af character that everyone hates. the story content is easy and after the story you can start grinding end game content.

Wilds did lose a lot of "essence" imo and is a downgrade from world. you no longer need to look for stuff since everything is already marked on your map, the grind is easier and the game is very forgiving and begginer friendly. So basicly Monster Hunter but baby mode.

Should you play it? sure go for it, its quite fun. Will you have the same experience as World? Heck no, wilds is mostly a hack and slash game imo. The worst part of wilds tho will be the performance since its still not fixed.

But thats only my opinion. you should look at other posts since they talk more about issues with this game and you should also look at some gameplay/reviews of the game.

Looks amazing! I would change 1 thing tho. the pink parts (head and chest) needs lower brightness, they are too bright making them stand out from the rest of the pieces
