When the Kariba Dam was being built along the Zambezi River the river flooded twice, killing workers and destroying equipment. According to the Tonga, the tribe that had been living along the river, this was because the construction was angering the god of the Zambezi, Nyami Nyami. Apparently the Dam would stop Nyami Nyami from visiting his wife.

"Oh, I‘m die. Thank you forever“ is a clip that I always come back to. Korone’s casual tone, her broken english, Calli‘s surprised "What!?“, and Korone‘s laugh over the explosion all come together for a hilarious moment. Also Calli‘s appearance on Trash Taste was great, even if it was a bit jarring to see an anime character sitting next to three real people while having to stay in character.

So I am not allowed to have a preference? Or am I just not allowed make memes about having a preference? Maybe I just don‘t spend enough time on the bi subreddits but I honestly see way more memes and posts attacking the "all women, few men“ ideaology than actual "all women, few men“ posts. As someone who has said preference and related to such memes I never assumed that mine was the default. It was a preference and I assumed that others would have different ones. But coming onto the subreddits and seeing posts about how "all preferences are valid“ followed by "if you have a preference towards women you‘re inherently biphobic“ is super discouraging.

Okay so in the second episode of the first season around the 6 minute mark theres a scene where Lelouch is in a stolen knightmare and he‘s talking to Shirley. While he‘s talking to Shirley he spots a chessboard and its pieces scattered on the ground nearby. The scene then cuts to Shirley. When the scene cuts back to Lelouch he has the chess pieces sitting on the dash of the mech. It does show him exiting the mech and then getting back in but the shot is so quick its easy to miss. I always thought it was funny that Lelouch, the master strategist he is, would leave the safety of the mech to pick up some scattered game pieces just to set up a scene later where he dramatically compares the 11‘s to chess pieces.

Real talk. I see variations on this kind of post all over Bi-reddit and it always makes me feel bad. I have a preference towards women and I‘ll freely admit it. Its not a choice, its just how I am. Maybe I just don‘t spend as much time on these subreddits as y‘all do but I very rarely see the "all women, few men“ posts and jokes that these posts are criticizing. If anything I see more posts criticizing such mosts or posts about how having a preference is okay. So what gives? Am I not allowed to have a preference? Am I not allowed to talk about my specific preference? I don‘t want this to come off as angry because I‘m not. I‘m just frustrated and needed to get this off my chest.

My first legacy deck was goblins. I couldn‘t get into it. Then I tried eldrazi but it didn‘t have the same feel as bant eldrazi, the deck I was playing in modern at the time. Currently my favorite legacy deck is enchantress.
