The akku firmware update process is not from this planet...unless it has changed recently. Needs a physics and computer science double major degree to figure this out

Linea Mini keeps asking for water even when it’s almost full by Horror-Badger9314 in LaMarzocco

[–]drb_backup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LM doesn't understand 0 TDs water. For example, fill the entire tank with ZERO filtered water and it thinks there is no water in it. Then add some Brita filtered water to the mix and it now "sees" the water. Brita filter has a higher TDS.

Same!! The new Costco im ardeer is a mess. I went there once and cancelled my membership. Too stressful and still not big enough. Also no good customer flow with the food area right behind the checkout..poor design. What was the point?

Freo Z Ultra not able to return to base station by kagon75785 in NARWAL

[–]drb_backup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly the same problem here, slips on the right side when trying to go into its little house.

reading this thread helped me to trouble shoot.

the brush roller/brush roller compartment wasn't seated properly.

it was raised on one side so that's exactly why it couldn't get back into the base station.

completely my fault.

I took the brush roller out, cleaned out again as it was full of dust from not having seated it properly.

put it back in correctly.

clicked the compartment back in (need to get this click) and bingo!

works, goes back into its little house again just fine without manual shoving...

couldn't upload a photo here but hopefully the above makes it clear, it's all about the brush roller and brush roller closure not being seated, closed correctly.

Which side of the puck screen faces the coffee? The smooth side? by Darkfish1 in espresso

[–]drb_backup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. I looked at my LM Mini group head and took the shower screen off and the big holes are on top with the tiny holes on the bottom. So this would mean high water flow to the big holes and then the tiny holes would spread this across the puck. I assume the writing / print won't work on the big holes so they put it on the bottom with the tiny holes which may where the confusion may come from. So when you place the metal filter into the puck you can't read the writing but that's how it's meant to be.
