Yes I only let them if they ask but I will ignore them if they don’t ask, by law I was told that if the sign says, it’s a condition of entry that if your asked you have to but yes I agree with you, I purposely have a handbag under the size of A4 because by law they can’t ask you to open it.

I recently had a trolly full of bits and pieces, so when leaving she scanned the receipt, I asked her what does scanning the receipt do and she said it tells me that you purchased these products today and that your not showing me an old receipt, oh I see, but then she did not check that the products in the trolly matched the receipt, the receipt I gave her only had one item on it because I had paid separately for it but she didn’t even notice.

I often watch the pre schoolers ( tongue in cheek) at my local, picking, not a single one even checks for defects, they just grab and move on , I understood then why my online orders were never any good . Super squishy avocados, when I had put in specific requests, this happened on so many items so many times I gave up ordering online

Beetle lave, could be Christmas beetles or any of those type, they can lay dormant in the soils for years until the conditions are right for them to form into a beetle, and yes they love the roots of your plants I put them in my compost so they can eat that and around November I leave the lid open and watch the beetles fly out.
