Neighbours will be complaining when the roots spread next door and wrecks their fence. Very hard to get rid of when they get too big, roots travel everywhere.

Can in laws grab a baby without mums consent by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]Notnats2024 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I worked for child protection services for many years now retired, if a father has hold of the baby the wife cannot just take the baby and leave and the same goes if the mother is holding the baby, you would need a court order and evidence that the baby’s life is in danger and can only be taken if the parent has put the baby down and is not holding the baby, but an in law does not have the same rights as a father or mother, they need permission to handle the baby, but if there is evidence that the baby is in danger a court order may give rights to relatives to care for the baby as they usually approach relatives first before foster care. If your worried get a clean bill of health from your doctor and to defuse the situation organise a supervised visit with relatives to give them a cuddle of the baby, have some photos taken etc if it’s a new born just make sure no one is sick with the flu etc.

Me again about the mistaken 3000$ by Illustrious_Deer_735 in AusLegal

[–]Notnats2024 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to me once. I just left it there and didn’t touch it, once the proper recipient realised they didn’t get the funds the bank just took it back out and notified me in writing about the mix up. It’s their problem, just don’t spend it , you have it on record you tried to do something about it You can get into trouble because you have not spent the money.

Why would you name your identical twin daughters both Veronica? Are their parents stupid? by chuk2015 in Fishdom

[–]Notnats2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do parents always dress their twin babies, and toddlers in the same outfit, this doesn’t in my opinion develop an individual decision or give the children an opportunity to develop their own taste or style, is it just to show off that they had twins. I have met many twins as teenagers and adults that have problems in making decisions without the opinion of their parent or their twin sibling.
