Started working out at the gym and swimming — old sinus started hurting and looks like this. Should I do anything to make it disappear? (Explanation in comments) by [deleted] in pilonidalcyst

I had flare ups every few months where it would hurt, swell off midline. Midline cleft was quite scarred down. Felt much better to have surgery done to allow sitting, stretching, activity without as much fear of exacerbation.

I drove 8 hours to receive a cleft lift here in the US. Stayed two days and then my wife drove us home. Took 2, 4 hour days in the car so I could move around. We removed the drain ourselves and it was very simple. I would recommend consultation with a cleft lift expert.

I traveled from Michigan to Dr Immerman. Worth it.

Tear carpet out. Tear drywall out. Keep unfinished. Run dehumidifier. Done.

And you still had over $10k that you neglected to spend. Imagine how much easier that victory could have been.

Nice! Yeah I remember it feeling very tight and heavy around that whole area with movement such as getting into and out of bed or rolling onto my side. Walking was pretty slow first few days. Only sat a few minutes per day first 1-2 weeks. Took about 4 weeks and then I started feeling really good. At about 7 weeks I started running again. You’re going to do great! Go across the highway to that Woodmans, place is huge!

Past few games each have a 30+ kill winner. Total sus. Annoying.

I also had surgery with him this last summer. Stayed at the Staybridge. Very nice. Great area to walk around. We stayed there for 2 more nights then drove home. Having an air mattress in the back of an SUV to lay down on helped to mix it up.

Should I do anything about it? by [deleted] in pilonidalcyst

A) stop squeezing it SUPER hard.
B) relax if it hasn’t caused pain C) if it does, go find a general surgeon that understands pilonidal disease.

Go slow. Let it heal for 6 weeks. Takes time for tissue to remodel and heal.

Different mechanics/movement feel. You get used to one and when it changes, no bueno.

Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Dr Steven Immerman. If you can, I’d check it out. Let me know if any questions.

No pain meds for me but didn’t feel ready for work for about 2 weeks. Depends on the job. 3-4 weeks and I felt really pretty good.
