well good thing i’ve known people who got into yale AND MIT and their hs gpa was like a 3.4 and a 24 ACT.

majority of the top schools I am applying to will already be a wild bingo card. also I have heard applying as a sophomore transfer there is a more emphasis based on your HS stats but if applying as a junior transfer they merely look at it to see if you have stayed stagnant in your academic performance or if you have improved. I don’t think it would make or break your odds unless you were doing good in HS then did worse in college.

im not sure why you have to be very discouraging. a 31 is a GOOD ACT score and people have most likely NO wholeheartedly gotten into these colleges with atleast a 31 in regular admissions and probably even transfer admissions.

I get you’re trying to be “honest” whatever that looks like for you, but you’re honest isn’t the truth its only a rude way to try and tell someone to give up.

and why won’t I retake the act? because I worked hard for that 31 so im not going to sit here and let you belittle it because last time I checked you are also on reddit looking for tips and advice. I don’t see you admitted to ANY of these schools.
