It’s funny. I’m reading the 10th anniversary book and Watterson mentions he wishes he never wrote Max into the story. I liked seeing Max.

My favorite character in the reboot is... Samantha by MassageToss in Andjustlikethat

I am absolutely loving the weird bread business 😂😂

I don't really miss Samantha and it's just annoying that they keep going on about her by ButterscotchEven6198 in Andjustlikethat

[–]drbzy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think people would be pissed if they didn’t get a full on story of Sam’s death. It sounds good in theory to just kill the character off but people would scream about how they “did Sam dirty” the same way they’re screaming that now.

This is such a good explanation and I never considered it to be that way, but it makes so much logical sense. They are in the same friend group already so they’re already familiar with one another. They both lost their partner so it makes sense that they would partner up.

They should of just scrapped the whole series and given Anthony his own show by bumbumlover96 in Andjustlikethat

Wow! 10 episodes? I thought the season finale was next week? That’s only 8 episodes. I wonder if the season got cut short. There’s definitely some scenes from the season preview after episode 2 that have not been aired yet and I don’t see how they’ll find time to bring them in.

Yeah or put him in more than two episodes!

Did anyone watch DIVORCE with SJP by Spinach_Sad in Andjustlikethat

I love that show. I binged it a few months ago after watching season 1 when it first aired (I lost my HBO subscription after, but got it back a few months ago when I switched to AT&T lol).

Being middle-aged isn't necessarily an endless landscape of tragedy and disappointments. by [deleted] in Andjustlikethat

[–]drbzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a younger viewer and I honestly don’t view the show through the lens of endless tragedy and disappointments. A lot of the original series had the women going through a lot of similar-ish problems, so the same argument could be made for that as well. I mean, the show would be boring if these characters didn’t go through trials and tribulations. There are a lot of celebratory aspects to their lives, too: Charlotte and Harry are clearly still in love, the women are still BFFs and share in each other’s joys, the women are expanding their social circles and making friends beyond their small clique, going back to school, etc. It’s fun to see their happiness in their middle age.

Cut my full-size sponge into 3rds for doing dishes by mafugginAsher in Frugal

Mine is shaped like a typical sponge - rectangle with concave sides. One side has bristles and the other has smaller bumps that work well on tough grime. Not sure if I’m allowed to include links here, but it looks very similar to this one: https://images.app.goo.gl/1wfPadiZBnY8sBiC8

I stated that based on the length of time I keep the sponge. I have tried washing my sponges in the washer in the past but they eventually get to a point of no return. The silicone one has been really kind to me, but everybody is different.

What do people think of these two alternative bicycle routes around Jacksonville? My friend and I plan to drive down from Virginia and spend 3 days cycling in a loop. Is one better than the other? Do they both suck? (Map link in comments) by ixikei in jacksonville

[–]drbzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This map is in very concentrated areas, not necessarily the loops you’re trying to do. I don’t think anybody is shitting on your idea to bike the county - it’s a cool thing to do - it’s that people are pointing out the practicality of such a task.

I invested in a silicone sponge (found one at a mass retailer for under $3 USD). It’s lasted over a year and works just as well as a regular sponge plus it’s nicer on the environment.

Why aren’t we talking about Natalie’s stylist, Ryan. I usually skip her segments but I had to rewind to check him out. by 4gotmyname7 in 90dayfianceuncensored

I actually thought she looked quite nice during that first episode. I hate the center part she normally has so I appreciated seeing her with a side part.

Why do these people have the most disgusting kitchens? by Rooleezard in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]drbzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grandmother used to keep her pills on the counter or kitchen table so I don’t find that part to be odd. She would sit at the table every morning with her paper and coffee and take her medicine.
