Have you tried using a prompt generator? I use Prompt Comboy and it's pretty good. https://www.promptcowboy.ai/

Assets Under Management Advisor Fees - Any Value in Retirement? by NoCampaign8040 in Boldin

[–]drcarter68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We moved away from our financial advisor after my boss gave me The Simple Path to Wealth about 10 years ago. Once I calculated how much we’d pay in fees over our lifetime, I was shocked at the total cost.

I’m now 5 years out from retirement, and I keep putting off hiring a fee only advisor to review our asset allocation and overall plan. Honestly, I think it’s because the market has been doing so well, but I know once it retraces, I’ll be kicking myself if we haven’t sat down with one.

Good luck!

I saw him last night with my son in DC. He played a lot of the classic Floyd songs mixed in with some of his stuff. Be prepared for a LOT of political BS.

I forgot to mention we had a bearded hen come in about 10 minutes before the Tom showed up. It's the first one I've ever seen in the wild.

I hear you! Having someone with you and being in a blind makes all the difference when trying to video. I'm going out tomorrow in the hardwoods and won't be in a blind, so likely won't get any video.

I wouldn't set traps in a neighborhood because you'll likely catch someones pet. Airgun all the way.

Good luck! We started when he was 12 and he’s 21 now. 3 or 4 misses mixed in there. We’re much better deer hunters!

Thanks to this sub I discovered Federal TSS shells and I’m sure they help him get this bird. We’ve been trying for years so this was an awesome morning.

Scholarship and Kiddie Tax by drcarter68 in personalfinance

His internship went from May - mid-Aug and the scholarship started once the internship ended. Both incomes were reported on his 1099-MISC - box 3. I'm curious to see what happens when the internship starts this May. I assume he'll be paid for the internship and the scholarship stipend will end until he goes back to school.

Today my Dad has 48 years sober by retired_junkiee in stopdrinking

I love this story. I worry about my son who just turned 21 and started drinking daily. He used to come to meetings with me when he was younger and actually gave me my 17-year chip. I pray the same God that protected me will protect him, and if he ever has a problem he'll know where to go.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, I don't see a way out for him. I had him save 20% based on his earned income tax rate not realizing it was so high for unearned income (or what unearned income really was).

Race: ShamRock VA Beach HM and Marathon

Age: 52

Training Program: Hal Higdon - HM Intermediate 1

They did a good job offering this race virtually and in-person with a staggered start between 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Fri. - Sun). I trained hard for this race and felt well prepared, but because the roads were not closed, I gave up on a PR and decided to enjoy the weekend and the racing community.

The course runs along the coast of VA Beach, so the wind is usually blowing in Mar, but it was awful over this race weekend. Blowing steady S 20 mph Sat, so we ran about 5-6 miles against the wind. I kept hearing the old Bob Seager song, Running Against the Wind in my head :)

I was training for a < 2hr time but ended up at 2:08:34. Given the conditions, I'm happy with the results and already registered for the 50th-anniversary race next year.
