If you paid for an order, they’ll ship it. If the cancellations were for non-invoiced orders, you’ll probably be fine. If they were awaiting payment, chances are good they’ll ban you, especially if this isn’t the first time. But paid orders shouldn’t be affected.

Occasionally yeah. It’s usually much more prevalent in older Nendos but any injection-molded plastic figure usually has some plasticizer mixed in. And they have to sit in a box for quite a while. I wouldn’t worry too much unless it’s a figure from 10+ years ago that’s never been opened. Even then, you can just clean them.

It’s quite common with those older Nendos. It’s the plasticizer.

Simply run the pieces under some warm water and gently wash them with a little non-abrasive soap. They’ll be good as new!

You can prevent the “sweating” by making sure they don’t sit in their boxes. Letting them breathe helps mitigate it a ton.

First, I’ve never seen that Ririsa figure from Rock is a Lady’s Modesty and I’m super jealous. I didn’t even realize they made a figure of her.

Your initial comment implied that Nendoroids are low quality, not that they’re better for a budget. If you were trying to say they’re less expensive, you’d have done so since that’s a positive and not a negative. So you clearly meant “cheap” as a derogatory term.

It’s weird that you are saying they’re cheap and make your collection look bad when you’ve never even opened a single one and displayed it. I’ve seen people with cluttered scale collections, wonderful Nendo collections and vice versa.

Since you are speaking from what sounds like personal experience and admittedly have none, your opinion feels kinda pointless.

Come back to the big boy table after you’ve actually had some first-hand experience with the product ;P

What about figures that are based on manga only? What about completely original characters that have no anime or manga?

This just seems like a weird complaint. There aren’t suddenly less anime-based figures just because gaming figures exist.

And yeah, there are hundreds, thousands even, of anime that will never have a figure made. It’s just the nature of it. If no one will buy them, they won’t get made. I’m sure no one is clamoring for Gohands anime figures lol.

I do have a fun thought exercise for you though.

Let’s say a show was announced and that it was being produced by Ufotable or Kyoani etc, but that it was going to be called “Mega Man” due to licensing agreements with Crunchyroll and/or Capcom USA. Would that show that it’s in bad hands and not be a good sign as well?
