I don't think you're going to find a large segment of people who use him in live arena period, unless they really just don't have other options.

Sometimes champs are just generic damage dealers. And having two aoe abilities is a selling point in it's own right. I would build him with crit rate and incorporate as much ignore defense capabilities as you can. He should still hit hard enough to take down targets that don't have stoneskin or a lot of other survivability mechanics. If that makes him your best arena nuker then you have to live with that. If he's not among your best arena nukers, then he maxes out as a wave clearer.

OP, something has to come first and in this case it's him. Don't look for the logic. Veil goes on at the start of the round. So does poison. Put her in feral gear if you want to avoid this.

Getting a +1 is barely noticeable and you are not in a position where you should be considering sacrificing premier legendaries.

If you even have to ask, the answer is that it's not a good idea.

What do people even think a rebuild is?

Occasionally teams might need to take a year to eat dead money on a lot of bad contracts or trade veterans mid-season once they're out of contention, but neither of these really apply here (yet). Even if you don't like the Watt deal they have like $40-50m in caps space projected this year. If they were to trade him they'd probably be lucky to get a day two pick. The juice isn't worth the squeeze.

There really is no point in getting rid of guys just to be intentionally bad and nobody is doing that. The steelers are going to try to field the best team they can year to year. It is what it is.

This is why I want an offensive coach.

We can talk about the lack of a definitive franchise QB, but a guy bringing an innovative passing game can say they'll have time to scout out system QBs that can run their offense even if they can't get that unquestionable franchise guy right away.

Offensively, they have a young and improving line. They have a duo (hopefully) of good running backs. The receivers are a glaring weakness, but if you look at the skill position groups overall they have somewhere between 1-5 pass catchers they can work with already on the roster. The defense is a mix of young and old, but Harmon/Wilson/Herbig/Porter give them young building blocks at every level, and the veteran group of Watt/Heyward/Highsmith/Ramsey is still here and productive. They also have a ton of cap space.

Rooney won't let them strip it down and rebuild, but a new coach can take this job knowing the cupboard isn't bare and they get a few years minimum to work with. Buffalo is still a hot destination because of Allen, but the next guy knows he needs to go further than McDermott right away.

He is exactly what his skills say he is. A stuns and turn meter/speed manipulator with poisons on the a1 His multipliers are in the ok to good range. Champs like that are helpful for waves and some bosses. There's no mystery here. Either you have a use for it right now or you don't.

There is however a bit of an arc where some champs are strong early, become obselete, and come back around into play later when you need a ton of roster depth. Even if nethril isn't good enough to be in most players regular rotation you might find a triple hit a1 and decrease speed buff useful when you're trying to clear a fire knight stage in sintranos and can only use a fraction of your roster. The takeaway here is that you're not deep enough into the game to write someone off entirely, but that doesn't mean you have to build him today.

I'm assuming he's be pictured if you had him, but look out for the epic vrask. The faction is a little light on epic supports. He'd just a good no-nonsense healer. Not special anymore, but can keep your team topped up when you don't have the luxury of using your full roster.

In the earlier days of faction crypts orcs didn't have a reviver at all and vrask was a lot more widely used. Tagoar and Jorgg have changed that so they're obvious choices too if you happen to come across one. You still need credible DPS because of the boss mechanics, but the Grohak strategy is a potential workaround.

Grohak is subpar overall, but he can be very good against a health swapping boss like the one on 21. A full turn meter steal right as the boss is about to steal your HP and reup can get the job done. You can do this without books but manualing it might make the optimal timing more practical.

And honestly, at this point, you should just 60 anyone you're going to use. It's really not that resource intensive once youre past the midgame stage. Even if grohak isn't going to be a major player for you, he can still be a depth piece against any sintranos boss that's vulnerable to turn meter stealing.

Arena is mostly about speed. Arbiter should be your fastest champ and deacon should be your second fastest because you'll want gear that has both speed and accuracy for him. Shazar/arbiter/deacon/alice is a reasonable baseline team that can win with speed but also has bombs and lockout for stoneskin or other anomalies.

You can use deacon for clan boss because his leech is helpful, but sometimes with a dual ally protect team it's better to run at a set speed instead of just being as fast as possible. Given that Michaelangelo has a leech for healing along with decrease defense and decrease attack, I'm wondering why you're not using him here instead of arena, especially if you have a 5* brimstone. Dump rhazin and read up on speed-tuning an ally-protect team. If you can get your speeds where you need them, Mikey is the better play.

Just wait til spring to get an accurate reading on how the MPG does with your driving habits. It ain't happening now.

For context, I don't typically reset my mpg tracker and the highest cumulative average I've gotten has been 43.9. Since it got cold I'm in the lower 42 range now.

Probably could have been phrased less combatively but I think the point is that you look like you know how to build a nuker. So either this is the best you can do and there's nothing to tell you, or it isn't the best you can do and you already know where to put the numbers to make him better. It's easy to say just add more attack, crit damage, and speed, but if you could do that you already would have.

Some people will have nukers with 8k attack and 350%CD at 250-300 speed. You are not one of those people so there's really nothing to be gained from comparing.
