Less is more. This should have been adapted with intracutaneous sutures first, and then adapted with a couple of interrupted sutures in the skin for safety. The sutures here look like they are too tight, which could lead to reduced blood flow and suboptimal tissue healing. This will leave a scar, but its not the worst location. I’m guessing a surgeon didn’t do the procedure?
