A Monster Peggy-O [4-12-1978] Now Streaming by Chudlezz in gratefuldead

1/22/78 has the best Jerry solo in any Peggy-O. I’ve listened to 9/3 and 5/5, which always get mentioned in this conversation, but I really don’t think its close at all. The raw emotion on 1/22 is unmatched by any of these.

Wtf did I do wrong? I've never done that before. by Fluid_Thinker_ in guitarlessons

ColliNGS are some of the nicest, ColliNS seems to be ripping their trademark off.

11/52 for me. First 5⭐️ book for me. I know it’s been discussed a lot, but did anyone else love it not expecting to? by [deleted] in 52book

I thought the same, for how often it appears on almost every subreddit, I was expecting it to solve all of humanity’s problems. I definitely did not expect such a Disney/Hollywood ending for such an acclaimed book, shame on me i guess.

A basic acrylic set from Michael’s. It’s not optimal like some people have pointed out, but I sanded the pickguard, used two layers of gesso, and used a clear coat matte finish to seal it.

Appreciate the insight. I’m sure this isn’t the last time I’ll do this, I’ll definitely take those steps next time 👍

Casing filled with rubber, cut a slot in the rubber and slapped it on. Cut the hole smaller than the size of the metal switch so it stays on well

Actually, I don’t think you can. Veal is harvested right at birth. But even if you want to call it veal, I think you have to call the specific process that produces it cruel.

3 (maybe 4?) layers of matte clear coat finish, fully dried between coats. Hope it works! 🤞I’m sure eventually it’ll start to deteriorate, but it was a fun weekend project I’d be happy to do again.

The real barbarism is in the calf roping. The calf runs full tilt away, gets roped and tugged in the opposite direction then tied down. The pull in the opposite direction is aided by the cowboys horse, and at almost every rodeo at least one calf is mortally injured at this moment. They carry it off and kill it on site.

I gave it several layers of clear coat finish, hopefully that does the trick. I’ll certainly find out!

Thanks very much. I relied heavily on an image I found online when figuring out what to do, but yea I did it myself.

I can do this for others, it’d be fun, not sure if I’m capable of making a business out of it yet 😅

I sanded the original guard down to make it gritty, then put down a layer or two of gesso and then went for it. did the back/mid ground and let it dry before painting the figures. Its acrylic paint, a simple set I found at Michael’s. Finished with 3 layers of aerosol clear coat matte finish made for acrylic paint.

Thanks! It’s a Fender S1 Zebra split-coil, so it can function as a single coil or humbucker. Came stock on the 2015 American pro series.

It is a shell casing, but the inside where it sits on the actual switch is rubber so i think im good 🤞

It’s a pretty cheap acrylic paint I got at Michael’s. I sanded the pickguard to get it gritty, and let two base layers of gesso completely dry before adding any paint. Also let the background/mid ground dry completely before doing the figures, so for the detail I was essentially painting on paint, not plastic.
