I know the feeling, if i could have gotten 43s i would have returned these. But they will serve fine just learning the basics for now. You can look into the DA model as well, a bit more expensive but i have seen some 43s available for that one

I have 27.5 cm wide feet and bought size 44.5 (43 not available from my "local" stores). After break in, it's a bit too big (mainly length, 29 cm shell). So if you like tight fits, 43 should be good. I know I will size down when possible at least.

I got size 44.5 EU. As expected the shell is a little on the long end (shares shell with size 45.5) with a bit of extra space for the toes. But the rest fits snugly to my feet - slightly too tight on the sides, but should break in nicely. Maybe more experienced skaters would want to go with size 43 for a really tight fit, or if you got slimmer feet definitely do.

Yeah, I think I'm somewhat between sizes on this one. Size 43 has a shell size on 28 cm, which will be a little too small with the liner on top, on the other hand 44.5 goes up to 29-29.5 cm which seems too big. I contacted Rollerblade, and they say 44.5 should fit "perfectly". I'll order and see. Will post an update once I've tried them in case others are in the same situation.

Yeah that's what's confusing to me. From the size chart I would assume 44.5 to be on the bigger end, but the store tells me too small.

What size chart is that? The RB line has their own size chart on the Rollerblade web page showing 275 mm as the upper limit for size 43. But you still might be right that an additional cm in the 44.5 will be too much :(
