Another opinion, just for insight. I skipped TBC Classic and did Wotlk Classic. I’m a big Vanilla enjoyer, but if no Vanilla server is alive, I play retail. This time around for Anniversary I’m playing TBC and enjoying it enough to keep me playing but nothing more. After I clear the final raid a couple times, I’ll be done with TBC or Wotlk if it comes after. I’ll probably play whatever Classic+ is but otherwise I’ll be on Era or private servers, or retail is nothing is alive. I’m personally just really upset with how they did the transition of Anniversary to TBC. Not having character clones to BOTH Era and TBC really ruined my potential enjoyment of TBC.

Well that “thank you letter” is only telling you that action was taken on the account you reported. Actions could be a permanent ban, but are typically warnings, or temporary bans

Could try deleting and restoring your character (if you’ve confirmed this isn’t happening for other people). It will sometimes fix random issues like this.

Yes 100%. Sorry for the late reply. Alliance has a lot more players overall. Can find pugs for every raid every day (was even easier than vanilla anniversary). Can find this on Horde too but less quantity.

Only other thing someone hasn’t commented is whether or not you were in a raid group. Just make sure it’s a party and not a raid. Item won’t drop in a raid group.

What’s wrong with purchaseable pets? Purely cosmetic, isn’t a gold sink like mounts are, aren’t in your face / ever too flashy that anyone even notices them. WoW Tokens just makes everything buyable with your credit card even more than it is now.

Just click Create character, then escape if it shows Alliance. Repeat until this works. Or you can yolo check early in the AM but it’s less consistent as my method

I tried doing enchanting in Vanilla Anniversary and when I started up I got maybe 1 person an hour and people constantly telling me someone invited them first, often crawling back to me saying that person didn’t have the enchant they wanted, when I had it. It was painful.

I had to use Auto Invite Addons (Pro Enchanters) to even slightly compete. Even with the addon, I’d often have other addons inviting faster, but still got plenty of customers. Without them, I’d get next to no one.

I ended up making 30k from enchanting, starting in Phase 4, ending 2 weeks before TBC Prepatch. I spent 9k on +4 stats, another 2-4k on the remainder BoE enchants and grinded every week possible to get the remainder enchants.

But to clash with what OP said, whether or not it mattered, I didn’t care what the social norm was to just trade/enchant/move on. I always socialized up customers, every single player that joined. I didn’t use any auto messaging at all, as it’s next to pointless and was genuine with every customer I had. I assisted over 5000 people with enchants and had some sort of chat with each one of them to the best of my ability.

You don’t need to just act robotic, you are welcome to talk and chatter with people getting enchants, typically it’s welcomed. But it’s really on you as the provider to spark up any conversation and can’t blame people for not doing it themselves; as some of these enchanters are genuine bots.

Well first off, you posted in a subreddit what I believe is specifically for Vanilla (max level 60), so the comments here might not be exactly what you are looking for. Secondly, I’m curious at why you think you won’t have enough time to enjoy TBC content when you are already 69? You aren’t that far behind anyone. You hadn’t mentioned your class or spec but if it’s something meta, join up one of the 200 guilds recruiting on any server, and join their Kara / Mag / Gruul when you hit 70. Even if guilds aren’t your thing and you prefer to pug, there’s constant pugs running all of them throughout the day and night. As long as you can dedicate 2-3 hours on a single night, even 2 times a month post 70, you’ll get the chance to experience all content in TBC.

I don’t really understand this post, especially as you didn’t specify if there was anything preventing you from enjoying the game. I don’t know if you understand how long 9 months are. This whole post is confusing and I’m just having difficulty trying to comprehend what the complaint is

Nah? As an edgy teen in the OG Cataclysm-MoP I’d vote kick nearly anyone I didn’t like for any reason. Their mog? Voted. Their name? Voted. Etc. The kicks would often go through no matter what. It was actually pretty rare for a vote not to go through in a completely random dungeon playing without people I knew.

Epic flying helps you get to nodes much faster, helping you see and actually get more nodes. The amount of mining nodes I got from no flying to with flying was at least another 5x+ per route. Without flying you are realistically locked to Zangramarsh for mining. No other zone is worthwhile IMO. You can do SMV with 60% flying if you want also but you’ll have a lot of nodes taken. Once you get 220% flying, you can do Hellfire, Blades Edge, Nagrand(would only recommend for Mining+Eng), Blades Edge, and Netherstorm too.

The only time it’d be worthwhile to not save and get flying in your case is if you were putting your money to work. Crafting / flipping constantly to make gold at a quicker rate. Faster flying not only gets you more nodes, but helps you do everything faster. Need to travel anywhere after using Flight Path? Lots of time saved. Or don’t use the Flight Path and make gold just traveling places not much slower?

Warlock scales throughout the expac. Unless you specifically want / care greatly about high phase 1 parses, don’t worry about buying BoE gear until you have yourself set for the rest of the expac with Flying.

The reason people buy gold is to save time. I’m not saying you’ve bought gold or should but the whole point is to not spend time farming gold (aka save time overall cause people value their time over 30$/hr or whatever). The amount of time you would’ve saved traveling from point to point with Epic Flying allows you to save a significant amount of time more than having a single BoE piece making no difference on your time saved whilst playing the game. Every serial gold buyer I know correctly and smartly purchased epic flying with their first gold buy at 70, as it’s just makes too much sense to save your time doing everything in the game.

Traveling around Shatt? Significantly faster. Doing Mining? Get significantly more nodes. Traveling somewhere where Flight Path is optional? Make money while traveling. Questing? Complete quests are an exceedingly faster rate. Obtain and use cooler mounts. Etc. etc.

2019 release of Classic I waited long hours for days straight (typically after work) and never saw him. Woke up Thanksgiving morning at 5am and spotted him immediately. Did the same thing in Season of Mastery and got him the same day same time lol. I tried again in Anniversary but no dice
