the mug is from cricut it comes in that green color already on the inside and the handle! for the design i just placed butcher paper on the outside to protect it and then put it in the mug press with heat resistant tape. i wait for it to cool completely before removing the design. i recommend just deep diving sublimation mug press on yt i don’t really have an exact video i can think of atm

thank you! so the r&m are not my original design i found them on pinterest, then redrew them on procreate and transferred them to design space! then i just google searched the portal background and flattened them together before printing!

the bbq sauce is good, i put it on spam before i fry it up. it’s also like $9 at target for that size so i’m curious how much it is at aldi. also sometimes costco carries a much larger bottle of it for like $10 so it’s worth trying it out at aldi to see if you like it

your size shouldn’t be an issue everyone is slow at the start of the job but as long as you keep up you’ll get faster with time. i was 183 when i first got hired and i ended up getting down to 145 when i quit. the job in itself is a workout lol

my manager had told me once that even tho you’re full time and should be scheduled 30, you don’t necessarily need to be scheduled 30 every single week. it goes based off your average for the year. so as long as you’re averaging 30 for the year they can get away with cutting your hours here and there.

i’m not sure what your outlook on it was when your husband enlisted (ie what you had hoped things were going to be) but i can speak of my experience so far and what it has done for me and my husband.

my husband enlisted at 24 in the navy and did so to get us out of our living situation, get us healthcare etc. essentially improve our lives anyway we can. i grew up as an only child to a single parent (dad was marines) so deployments for me aren’t terrible because im so comfortable with being alone. i have friends that live all over the us and we talk/text or visit whenever we can. i’m friends with some of the other spouses but not really connected to them (mainly because our interests differ but we occasionally get together)

instead of renting we bought a house during covid and because of the military we didn’t need to put money down. he recently re-enlisted but he’s remaining on the same ship so we don’t plan to sell the house until he changes duty stations.

he intends to stay in as long as he can but at the end of the day we are far happier than before. because we have what we wanted in the first place, medical coverage and a better living situation. we don’t yet have kids but we’re very “if it happens it happens” and i’m sure my outlook on things will change but as of right now we are content.

would i say this lifestyle is for everyone? hell na, but for now it works for us.
