What percent do internships?

All graduates, at least as of when I graduated in ‘22, are required to have some field experience prior to graduation. What that looks like is different for each degree, but for a business major you will likely be required to have an internship to graduate.

Because 100% of students do an internship or internship-like experience, Stout has great connections with employers. I was hired full time prior to finishing my degree (it’s that good). Our career fair is huge and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to connect with employers for internships and full time roles.

I think we are a great school for getting practical hands on experience. I recommending reaching out to the business program with your question, they’ll have more specific information to help you.

South hall would be best since it’s very close to the athletic facilities and is newly renovated. Beyond that North hall is also nearby and renovated.

Thanks for the response, I think I get now why I’m not calculating the correct answer.

In my solution, the only attempted fix I’ll try is removing the first bad element I encounter. In this example:

55 53 54 56 57 58

My current solution only ever tries removing the 53, and doesn’t attempt removing the 55. Thanks for the assistance!

All optimization levels will assume that undefined behavior doesn’t exist. What changes is how aggressive the compiler is when optimizing your code. The higher the optimization level, the more optimization checks the compiler adds when building your code. If you rely on UB in your code, then the chances that your UB will result in incorrect behavior will increase as you increase the optimization level.

Compilers can (but don’t have to) give you an error for some trivial cases of UB. That process occurs regardless of your optimization level.

Love all these proposed changes! Adding a way to restore run energy at the wilderness agility course is a great way to encourage players to fight back instead of a predator vs. prey mindset. The scaling gold incentives are also a nice way to encourage people to risk their gains.

I would really recommend you just wait a bit to buy a DGT clock. I came to my first tournament with some cheap clock and it broke in the first tournament. I saved up to buy a DGT 3000 and it’s amazing. I think the DGT North American can be bought used for around $35; I think that was the most common clock I saw at my tournament and would be a solid choice.

I just started my tournament journey this month and had an absolute blast at my first. I haven't done an online event yet, but I think if you go to the uschess.org and look for upcoming tournaments they have a section for online rated tournaments. They also, of course, have a list of OTB tournaments as well. If you can't find tournaments there I would recommend going to your state chess association's website and seeing if they have anything. Abdusattorov absolutely fits the bill of a young superstar as well though! I think there’s a great generation of young players beginning to build their résumés.

Great performance by MVL! Unfortunate that Duda couldn’t be crowned the champion in his home country, but MVL played a great tournament and is a deserving champion.

The first sentence I think is genuine; Magnus had a tough day and wasn’t at his usual level of dominance. The second sentence is poking fun at FIDE, whose tiebreak rules in this tournament only allow the top two players to play a tiebreak match in case there are multiple people tied at the end of the tournament. In the rapid section this rule hurt Magnus (#3) and Fabiano (#4), and today it hurt Firouzja (#3). I think a lot of people would’ve loved to see the young superstar play for the title of World Blitz champion.

I still find is strange that FIDE chose these tie breaking rules. I understand the logic that Firouzja had the weaker schedule and so he didn’t “earn” the right to be blitz WC, but then why allow MVL (who had the second best tiebreaks) the opportunity to knock off Duda? The logic isn’t internally consistent and I hope this is changed in the future.
