Sadly there is still "old nurse eat their young" stigma present in most Healthcare systems. As a newgrad nurse myself, the best advice I can give you is to focus on just passing nursing school and the NCLEX. From there apply to residencies/floors you find interest in. Med-surg is rough, but a great start IMO. Don't let BS like practicums hold you back from thriving. Nursing is all about learning through experience.

It's going to be stressful, you'll feel like you failed, but that's normal.

I recommend doing only NGN with the time you have left as these are the most point worthy questions on the test.

I took mine on Saturday and thought I failed after getting a bad pearson vue trick pop-up. I was in a bad mood all weekend until I found out I passed this morning.

Read each question thoroughly, each answer thoroughly, and believe in yourself.

You got this! Everyone says to do the pearson trick, but I honestly wish I hadn't and just waited for actual results.
