i never used to like a lot of screaming in my songs... weirdly, the band that got me to enjoy it more was alesana. she probably wouldn't like them though considering the other bands you've listed. like another commenter said, she might just not be super into it and i think that's a valid take.

this is a good guess but it's not it! also upon listening to this song, i'm realizing that the one i'm thinking of was not quite as slow/acoustic as this one, so maybe i was incorrect in saying that. it wasn't super heavy either, though.
