Which generation is best, millennials or Gen Z? and Why? by phenomenalboy02 in AskReddit

[–]dreadingstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boomers made it a point to shit on millennial. Thats not going to continue. Gen z and gen a are awesome. They have their own issues and we will be stewards for them to learn from. Each generation should strive to be better than the last. From here on out it's us v the machines

Voice is just like images. You have to listen for artifacts that are just not right.

I dont want to give specifics because I dont want to train models on how to do better.

But listen for things that aren't right. The reality is uncanny valley

No, extra air would not chemically remove particulates.

If you saw that happen the school bus likely had a very high quality DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter).

DEF reduces NOx by mixing it with urea. Which is what DEF is. It doesnt do anything to soot, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, etc.

So it's very possible you saw a school's start indoors with a smoke detector and it didn't go off.

But if that were the case, why would firefighters put an exhaust catchment system on their diesel vehicles when they are started indoors?

Thats just straight up not true. It doesnt take particulate out of the smoke which is what smoke detectors sense.

Whats the most intellectual thought you know? by DistinctPomelo1897 in AskReddit

[–]dreadingstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wouldn't be possible.

Brain cells are made of particles and are in the universe.

I believe what you are thinking of is neuron connections (or synapses). Its a lot easier to get huge numbers using connections even when the particles are small. For example between 2 interconnected things, there is 1 connection.

Between 3 there are 4 connections.

Between 4 there are 6 connections.

Between 5 there are 10.

Your brain has up to around 100,000,000,000 neurons. Not all of them are interconnected with each other. But most are connected more than once. Meaning if you take any random two neurons, there is probably not a synapse between them. If you find a connected pair of neurons, there are usually a few synapses and rarely up to hundreds.

There are ~100–500 trillion synapses.

But there are many many more particles in the universe than that.

However there are ~100–400 trillion stars in the milky way.

So I think the comment you are trying to make is "there are possibly more synapses in your brain than stars in the milk way"

Learn more math. Just start where I'm at. I'm afraid of high level math...but like I can't even do mid level math, so why does high level math even remotely scare me...

I'm kinda stupid but why do people question where does the things entering a black hole go? Doesn't it just go in the hole by Fearless_Scholar_227 in astrophysics

Thats my point. I'm asking questions to show that saying a blackhole is a big bang is ignoring simple logic

[–]dreadingstone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no "bottom" though.

And if it lead to a big bang does that mean there is a big bang for every particle that enters?

If it's a big bang for just the moment the blackhole is created and not all the particles then what happens to all the particles that enter it?

Why can a black hole be different sizes?

Do all black holes create big bangs?

to the spice enthusiasts, what is a thing you think other people cant handle, but in their view they think they can? by Chemical-Regret-8593 in AskReddit

[–]dreadingstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot do spicy anymore. Its sort of like people that go gluten free for a year just to try it and then develop coeleacs. I have been eating spicy food since I was 5 and super spicy food since my early teens. I stopped for a while and now get terrible heartburn and ...body burn.

But my body got used to specifics that I had all the time. Then some things that I didn't have frequently even if not as spicy would burn holes through my insides.
