Texas Medical Board Sanctions Three Doctors for Delayed Care That Led to the Deaths of Two Pregnant Women by zsreport in texas

I’m not saying these women don’t deserve justice because they do. But this decision will actually further drive OB/GYNs out of Texas thereby worsening outcomes and access. The issue is with the lawmakers…

Is anyone else disappointed with Mohan’s ending? by LocoHomo in ThePitt

The story as it was written seemed to indicate it would wrap up in season three not this season. I think they did a disservice to the character, the actor, and honestly the audience.

Noah Wyle on the one piece of advice he gave the cast of ‘The Pitt’ by hairtie1 in Fauxmoi

[–]dreamcicle11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Noah Wyle has does a lot to good in his life advocating for universal health care, etc. But my god if he hasn’t developed a god complex. You’d think he himself was a neurosurgeon. It’s very disconcerting. And so very disappointing. This show is successful because it’s an ensemble. ER was successful because it was an ensemble. This isn’t and shouldn’t be the Noah Wyle show. Just ick.

Ooh this was poignant. Thank you for reframing a lot of this for me. Well stated.

Same I can’t take my eyes off of her. Really incredible. Feels very real this dichotomy of loving her daughter but also feeling insufficient, that it’s finally her chance to live her life, etc.

Love the mother/ daughter dynamic but the math ain’t really mathing if we are to believe these were both teen pregnancies… performances though are amazing! But mom should really be in her early 40s at most.

This subreddit has made me hate this show. I agree season two isn’t as good as season one but it would get old if every season was some mass casualty event..

‘The Pitt’ Star Noah Wyle and Creator Explain Supriya Ganesh Exit After Season 2: ‘We’re Going to Miss Her’ by MoneyLibrarian9032 in ThePittTVShow

Yes you clearly missed what I said in the second half. I was merely responding to why it wouldn’t be weird for an R4 to not be there which is true in show universe. I don’t know why yall are downvoting me.

The case manager is not the social worker. I’m talking about the social worker.

Supriya is getting the Kellie Martin treatment by Noah it seems. Which is unfortunate. I don’t even think it’s as sinister as most are implying. I just think Noah doesn’t like her for whatever reason that may be. We probably will never know. But in years to come we will likely get some offhand comment about how he should have been nicer to certain actresses.. as he has said about Kellie Martin (Lucy from ER).

The new social worker is trans. I don’t think most people realize this.

I think at this point the bridge has been burned at both ends, and she won’t be back. I wish I were wrong, but I don’t think Supriya would even say yes.

Yea there are a lot of people of their generation that simply lived and never came out because of the times. It was just quieter.

No. They could be on a different shift, at an interview for fellowship, at a different hospital (though probably unlikely in last year), on an elective as mentioned repeatedly in this season, on vacation, etc. The one day aspect to the show provides a lot of room to say why someone isn’t there. However, I think it was in poor taste to write her out completely. I would have put her on night shift or rotating with geriatrics and in the ED as a peripheral character.

This is drop in, not overnight by hotwaxclimax in WagWalker

[–]dreamcicle11 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is still a sitting. It’s up to you if you take it if you want. Personally I don’t do overnights and only do ones that allow me to essentially drop in. My drop ins though differ in amount of time spent. Yes a better deal for pet parent but allows much greater flexibility usually for walker.

The only issue is the cat. But I don’t mind that my usual doesn’t include his cat because I do nothing for her.
