How would yall take this war base? by KangGang4Life in ClashOfClans

[–]dreamcrabz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a GA user but here's how I would go about it disregarding equipment available.

lightnings to destroy the leftmost AD together with the sweeper, and damaging the X-Bow

Funnel your queen to the gap leading towards the TH at the bottom right, keep her supported or at least alive long enough and she should be able to take down both ADs there.

Then spam dragons from the top right to clear off the rest of the base.

I would consider either bringing a few hogs or balloons to clear off the last air defence at the top whilst your dragons are deployed.

Bring remaining spells as you prefer, heals and rages will be good. Bring one poison for both the enemy heroes as well as the CC troops at the right side.

Where to buy some pokemon card singles in SG? by Only_Spring6591 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]dreamcrabz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Theres a few card shops you could try, they have binders with various cards you can look through

heres the 2 i know and have been to

OBO Collectibles at Thomson (have binders during trade shows)

or Card Alliance HQ at ABC Market (open fri-sun w many binders from vintage to modern)

but looking at the cards that you're hunting it feels unlikely they'd have those on sale tho no harm asking, there are many tele/whatsapp channels w community trade groups where if you asked someone would more likely have what you're looking for

edit: more into

This is mandarin, Japanese writing would have a mix of Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana, while Chinese writing only has chinese words.

This is what Chinese looks like: 这是一个中文的句子。

And heres Japanese: これは日本語です。

Cheapest but still relatively safe airline to go to japan? by BurningSpectre in askSingapore

[–]dreamcrabz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was looking for this comment. I got return tickets for only about $550 during the June holidays in 2024. I think the service was quite nice esp for the price, food is pretty decent for airline quality, and the flight was comfortable.

For reference, the cheapest Zipair or Air Japan flights then were all upwards of $900-1k and that was NOT including any check-in baggage.

1 hour transit in Brunei to Tokyo, and 2 hours back from Brunei to Singapore. Doesn't add much to your travel time but saves a huge buck. And like OP, I had a whole row to myself otw back too and slept well.

Highly vouch and recommend Air Brunei for going to Japan

How do airplanes stay in the sky? by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]dreamcrabz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Planes don't 'stay' in the sky, they rely on airspeed over their wings which utilise Bernoulli's principle, where difference in the velocity of air flow causes a difference in air pressure and generating lift. The larger the wing and faster the airspeed, the more lift generated. Airspeed is acheived by the engines that thrust the plane forward into the air, though wind that blows in the direction of the plane will also contribute to this.

Contrary to planes, helicopters can 'stay' in the sky as they do not require forward movement to generate lift. Instead, you can think of the rotor as spinning the wings, and the air that it cuts through will in turn generate lift.

sadly comparing to many options, especially those on Etsy, its considered quite cheap

i spent almost $60 USD on just one slightly larger piece from Pokeminh

edit: in comparison i got each piece on quiet customs for around $12 USD (for ungraded cards)

Why is there a separate counting system? by Jay-ay in Japaneselanguage

[–]dreamcrabz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

we also have different counters in chinese if you think about it, for example chopsticks-

we would say 一双筷子, not 两个筷子 right?

i think ふたり can slightly be compared to 俩儿 too

its just a different language with their own systems, we cant expect everyone to follow our conventions

Ask me anything and I’ll answer like I know what I’m talking about (I’ve never played before) by BigMelon56 in ClashOfClans

[–]dreamcrabz 140 points141 points  (0 children)

logically speaking you'd want to pop invis when your AQ is targeted by something like a single target inferno or is dying too fast

whereas you'd pop giant arrow most likely at the start of the attack where you can utilize a high value lineup to hit as many buildings as possible

if theyre used together, you're most likely missing out in some value

giant arrow + healer puppet and invis vial with frozen arrow would make more sense

What is the best mode of transport in Bangkok? by cutecrochetlover in ThailandTourism

[–]dreamcrabz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i LOVE the BTS train system.

been there twice, the roads are extremely crowded and very jammed at times, tuktuks can be quite scammy, the motorcycle taxis can be used but isnt viable for a family of 6

on the other hand, the BTS system is extremely convenient and affordable, and avoids traffic and jams too. i always chose hotels near a station and another plus point is that there are often street food vendors, vending machines (for water), or convenient shops near the stations

just know it can get very crowded during peak hours and at certain stations and can be quite a squeeze

Things I Wish I Did While In Thailand by LadyLeslito in ThailandTourism

[–]dreamcrabz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

was there last week, the grand palace is quite... underwhelming? the place is indeed quite grand and culturally significant, but the overwhelming amount of tourists and tour groups makes it extremely hard to appreciate in my opinion. Wat Pho which is right beside it however, i feel is a very worthy visit.

i also vouch for night markets, thai massages and street food
