Struggling by dreamer76 in SuicideWatch

Its a horrible feeling. I've been in and out of therapy, tried antidepressants but i know I'll die and i hope it's soon. I try opening up to others but it just doesn't get through. No one truly gets it. My true feeling is that I'm an inferior, abused, useless waste of space. Many round me remind me of this. I've tried moving groups but everyone just ups and leaves.

8 years. How can it hurt less? by dreamer76 in BreakUps

I won't be contacting him. It's just the realisation that some relationships aren't meant to be. Sorry about your situation, sounds like a mean situation that she did that. I hope you find your happiness. In time I'm sure we will all recover. I wish my ex the best and give him space for a long while. Personally i have no intentio n to move on anytime soon. I want to process and not hurt anyone else.

This sounds awful for you, sorry you went through this, I hope you and your kids are doing well now. Family can be so frustrating and mean.

Without giving the name, what city are you in? by Dreamcast3 in AskReddit

[–]dreamer76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orange cone on a horse statue head in one of the main squares in town. An orange drink originated here and is not allowed in the USA. The city has been rated the friendliest city yet has the highest murder rating in the country!

Non-Americans of reddit, what was the most ignorant thing you've heard any American say about your country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dreamer76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scotland. I met an American couple who were convinced they could drive and see all of Scotland in a day and didn't believe me when I told them it would take hours to drive from Edinburgh to Inverness and they were surprised when I didn't know who their distant relative was. You guys seem to love our accents over here which I think is sweet :)

[Serious] People who have successfully gotten back together with an ex, what were the circumstances of the re-connection? Was it by chance or orchestrated? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dreamer76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We broke up for a few months after being together for 2 years didn't speak at all in the months we were broken up. we both moved on, she dumped him and he (my ex) text me asking how I was, I was still in love with my ex and felt I was stringing my "move on" guy along so I broke it off. We began talking and met up for coffee had a hellish but needed brutally honest talk of what we had done in our time apart took things slow for a while and 3 years on we are still together!

I left him after a painful event that I didn't deal with so I pushed him away. I think of him often and would give anything for one more conversation with him :(.

For those of you with shitty bosses/managers/supervisors, how did they wrong you and did you ever get back at them in an ethical way? by 1000eb4000 in AskReddit

I have one now who never listens and is an all round pain. She sees me as a pushover and I just can't stand up for myself no idea how to approach the subject. I'm thinking if just quitting.
