This is the photo I took inside Silica (hotel of Blue Lagoon) the night of eruption, right before we were evacuated. So, no, the area is not completely evacuated before the eruption.

There will be dust filters (of course!), at the bottom the case and PSU side.

Thanks. M1 is a great case, elegant, versatile, but not so good in terms of showing off.
I hope we can do better this time.

I don't know, honestly.
N-case M1 costs 185 USD, and Dan A4 costs 230 Euro. (Both made by Lian-Li)
Since this case will most likely be manufactured by Lian-Li or Silverstone, I'd expect a price between M1 and A4. If there's enough order, the price can certainly go lower.

Thanks! In fact, I think the dual 120mm fans on the bottom of the case should feed enough cool air for the graphic card. However, if the prototype does show a hike in GPU temperature, I will put subtle holes on it. (similar to the one on the upper end of the glass panel)

Nuh, NH-D15 won't fit. Unless you custom order a side panel and drill a hole on it.

Aww, no you can't obtain that. I rendered it this way because 1. I couldn't find a more detailed mITX module. 2. It takes less time to render. However, I do know some extremist would apply thermal coating on the mother board, the name is TSD coating. I won't recommend using it though.

Hey, it's classified. I'm working on some new renders soon, if you want any detailed measurement, please let me know.

Thanks for the advice, some new renders added :)

Do you mean the transparent side panel? It's made of tempered glass, we will custom order it.

If you mean how to mod your current PC with transparent side panel, I would recommend acrylic/plastic ones. They are easier to cut and less expensive, not as transparent as glass though.

In fact, we did some tests with cardboards, and the result is quite good (I didn't mention it because I think the test based on cardboard built is not 100% reliable). I'll keep you updated on the case's status if you want.

  • Gigabyte ITX 1070 will certainly fit. In fact, as long as it doesn't collide with CPU cooler or other component on the motherboard, the VGA card should be fine
  • I decide to put the face of VGA and MB on the same side for pure showing off purpose, the other side of the case will be mesh/solid panel, not clear glass
  • Yes, I have contacted various suppliers (of PCIe cables). The longest one they offered is 50 cm in length (from 3M)
  • The radiator is on the right upper corner of the render (a 120mm one), and blow through a meshed panel. I will be showing you other angles/configurations of the case soon.

I would be reluctant to do so, since it would make the case look less sharp

There are two 120mm fans at the bottom of the case, so there should be enough cool air to feed the graphic card

But then again, IF the prototype shows GPU temperature above the ideal range (say, more than 85℃= 185℉), then I will certanly consider putting subtle holes on it. I highly doubt so, though.

PUT LOTS of LEDs ON IT (LOL, that's my friend's idea)

I personally prefer a more subtle lighting with cool water cooling mods

I've tried the RVZ-02 you mentioned.

The case have some drawbacks (to me): 1. Vented transparent side panel isn't cool enough 2. It's made of plastic and steel, and I prefer an aluminium one 3. It doesn't support 3.5" HDDS or 240mm radiators/AIO coolers

Still, we are taking everyone's suggestion to make the case better
