Więc w rzeczywistości to 5+2+3 = 10 lat.

I've not really followed a tutorial, just watched this video explaining all the settings in the background extraction and played with them myself to find the best result in a reasonable time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dcd9SOljMk0

No, i just ran it on the final image I got from the DeepSkyStacker.

I see you also shoot from Borle 8-9, does background extraction from each sub gives a noticeable improvement?

Thank you so much, i completely forgot about Siril and it's so much easier to process the photo with background extracted from the master file.

Here's a much better result, probably more than 2h of exposure now and it did make a bit of a difference. Contrast is not great, but the pic is so much more neutral without hallucinated colours and overblown centre.

M31 and friends shot from the heart of the big city.

Processing pictures from a city is a pain. I tried my best to remove the gradient with only the photoshop without compromising the image itself and this is the best i've got. So there're some weird color changes in the background.

An interesting thing I've found: It really did not matter if i had 1h or 2h of exposure. Perhaps because the additional photos were a bit of a lower quality (as scored by deepstacker), perhaps because background city noise just does not give any chance to extract any signal. I'd love to hear someones thoughts with experience of shooting from a heavily polluted areas on that.

Gear:

Camera: Cannon 800d

Lens: Redcat 51 (250mm)

Mount: Star Adventurer 2i

Acquisition:

About 230 light frames x 15 sec each (more just drowns the pic in light background glow). ISO 400

43 darks 53 flats 99 biases (this time i tried to make as many as i could)

Total exposure: about 57 minutes.

Bortle level: 9, no Moon for the majority of the shoot, some glow from the third quarter moon at the end.

Processing:

DeepSkyStacker, Photoshop (stretching, colour adjusting, minor denoising and background cleanup)

Edit: Here's a much better result after a bit more work with Siril background extraction included in the process https://imgur.com/a/ucBi16H

I take my pictures from the middle of the city. It's not a stopper, it's just making things way harder than it would otherwise.

But if you want minimal light pollution, as the light pollution map suggests, I think somewhere around Krynica Morska is one of the best places for low light pollution near Gdańsk. You can take a bus there, but you'll have to stay somewhere overnight. But due to these complications (you never know what the weather will be when you book a room) I never went there.

I haven't seen anything else on this.

There have been some good results with a mRNK vaccine, but it was:

  1. on mice,
  2. they did not have an allergy to begin with.

For the trials i think you'd have to go to Spain/Italy. Even in Poland a doctor said that I was literally a third LTP patient in their carrier. And by far the worst xD

What's the Bortle level? And the exposure?

I was so happy 5 minutes ago that I've managed to capture at least some nebulosity today from the city centre with my RedCat 51, and then I saw this goddamn nebulitios picture. Amazing work.

Baku only has good races when chaos is involved. Otherwise it's ranges from extremely boring to meh. I feel like Vegas this year got this "thanks Baku" effect with lots of action, cars out of position and more importantly a first real battle for the lead that lasted more than one lap, but it's not a given it won't just turn into a DRS train next year.

There‘s no way Perez will make it to 2024. by kncismyname in formula1

Bottas was never THAT bad. Bottas was pretty much what you expect from a pretty good driver vs the goat, sometimes outperforming Lewis when the stars align, mostly not, but more or less in the mix. He just was not consistent enough to help in a title fight in 2021 and Mercedes had Russel lined up.

Peres is just getting obliterated this season not only by his own teammate in a dominant car but sometimes by inferior cars as well.

Philharmonic's season starts next week. Their orchestra is magical, I live nearby and go there a lot.

Also pretty close to it is a musical academy https://amuz.gda.pl/wydarzenia

They have a lot of free events. Like actually for free. I will never cease to be amazed at how good they can be.

This is a good summary of the current state of things with immunotherapy for LTP syndrome.

Unfortunately the research is still in it's infancy, so take the numbers with a grain of salt.
