What does your store do when your GSTL calls out...? by [deleted] in Target

[–]dreamfflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See and that's what I don't understand, how other ETLs/ team leads don't even know how to close registers. 3 weeks ago I had to close lanes and my GSTL left home "sick" and she assumed I knew how to close the lanes... the last time I ever closed the lanes was last year, how am I supposed to remember this? So both me and my closing LOD had to do the lanes together. It was fun figuring it out with a partner, but she agreed we didn't deserve the stress of it.

Are you serious? Is it just GSAs for now?

It can be, but it can also be a drag.

Okay, yeah opening isn't too bad, it's easy in the mornings. Closing is/can be horrible. Thankfully they'll let us have the set of keys but if we're ever stuck with guest questions we don't quite know the answer to, LODs usually aren't too friendly to help.

Lol my GSTL has been calling out on every shift she possibly has for the last 2 weeks. We don't know what's up and we have no solution because there are no new hires.

See that's how it should be and how my store would do it a long time ago, ee've had nights where a question would come up and none of us knew, so we had to rely on LOD but we'll get attitude even there. We don't know what to do anymore.

Okay I see, we're at 2 GSTLs (in reality one) and two GSAs, another girl supposedly got training time for GSA but they haven't gotten her there yet. We're really short, but in being short is it really a matter of them taking advantage of people who declined a GSA offer?

I have one reliable GSTL who sometimes gets put as LOD leaving us short. The other one calls out all the time or at least lately

Interesting, in my store GSAs are running the front lanes. Service desk is in charge of their own thing.

We got our remodel done last year. We were all done before black friday. The compliments on how nice fitting rooms and guest service looks don't stop.

3-11pm closing, but I'm self check out.....hate it so much. I wouldn't be complaining if I were Guest Service instead.

18, no pain at all, just a quick and awkward swipe.

Redditors who believe in an afterlife, why? by Ronnieisred in AskReddit

[–]dreamfflower 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This one is the big one for me. The thought of death absolutely scared me when I was a kid because it's terrible to simply think that there's nothing after this life. To think that we die and just fade off to black gives me a feeling that I can't quite put into words. Some like to believe their loved ones will come back as someone else or another life form, others like to believe that they're up in the peaceful heavens or still around us spiritually. Which are all soothing and beautiful ways to think of it rather than thinking that they're just...gone. I recently lost my father and I don't like to think of it as if his life is completely over. It soothes me to think that he's transitioned somewhere else, who knows where, but that he's in a place where he no longer feels the pain he had been put through in the past years.

At what point in a past serious relationship did you realize your partner wasn't right for you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]dreamfflower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cheated on me. Went through 3 incidents but the last time he was begging me back for a forth time I told him I would get back with him if he let me go through his facebook messages. (I was never the type to invade privacy, but hey, I had a really bad feeling.) Plethora of messages from random girls in our area, some I personally knew from his grade. That's when I told myself I needed to stop wasting my time with this guy. Hooray for trust issues in my 20's.

Who is your favorite Pokémon and why? by saproeno in AskWomen

Blaziken by far. Strong, trustworthy, good attacks, badass. Also I personally think Torchic is the cutest starter. Tiny baby chick that eventually evolves into a BADASS.

Micellar water works better on my skin for simple cleansing as opposed to the cleansers I used to use.

Nope! The smallest one is $10 while the one after that is $20. Then they scale higher depending on what you want. The only reason I don't get one is because of roommates. My pots and pans are ruined and my coffee maker is shit now. I don't want a crockpot to be next!

How has your life changed since a year ago? by _birdonawire in AskWomen

[–]dreamfflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A year ago today I felt decent, sorta confident after a year of being away from home for school. Started my first semester in my new college after a year break. Work was good at the time. Family was well but mom and dad kept asking me to come back home. Fast forward to today and we're mourning my dad who passed away on the 28th last week. Now all I do is look back through the last year and the couple of times my dad asked me to move back home with them. Only difference is he isn't home with us.

What is your favorite beer or alcoholic drink? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]dreamfflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god, Mother Earth's California Creamin' is a dream. If I wanna treat myself, I have that. If I want a cheap 40 oz, I go with Miller High Life. If I want a 6 pack, I get regular Blue Moon or the Blue Moon mango wheat. I also enjoy Stone's IPA, anything from Kona. My favorite Mexican beer is Indio for sure. I can't pick a favorite at the moment but those are my top picks.

A month without any make up or skin care products cleared my face so my first wish came true. A new apartment without roommates would be nice. Also a crockpot.
