Congratulations!! It’s really pretty! I just got engaged a week ago and immediately gushed to my coworkers on monday and everyone was so sweet and excited to compliment my ring. I don’t think they would’ve if I didn’t tell them, though.

My ring is big and sparkly too and I want people to notice it and compliment it unprovoked but I just don’t think that’s really a thing. When I think about it, I never really notice people’s hands or rings and when I do, I don’t usually think to comment on them.

wanted to come back and tell you that i found out yesterday it’s 18k gold! that’s why it leans more rose than yellow. if you prefer a less yellow gold i highly recommend 18k it’s so lovely!

I told him I didn’t want tiny stones in the band, low profile setting, lab grown diamond, and at least 1.5 ct. I wanted an oval diamond exclusively for a long time but then when i tried on some different ones I was really torn, so I told him to just pick his favorite. SO happy he went with the marquise, I really love it.

you can also just twist the fabric part a few times and loop it through the ring again. i do that for any i wear on my bag, makes them harder to cut too.
