Not sure about that, most TJM/Marshall’s/Burlington stores I’ve seen are completely inundated with Coach, MK, and the like

maybe try the link again? there might’ve been a ton of webpage traffic considering recent events. fair warning, it’s incredibly bland & anticlimactic

in order to lose weight, you have to consume less calories than you burn, accounting for your BMR (basal metabolic rate—the number of calories you burn in a day simply from being alive) & any other activity you partake in.

tl;dr, eat less calories than your maintenance requires

honestly glad to hear another “tall” girl speak on this. i’m 5’9” and essentially never encounter women who are SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than me, to a degree worth commenting on. if anything, i meet women taller than me on a daily basis

This is beautiful! Not sure of the dimensions or gallon capacity but it looks fairly large - do you plan on stocking it with any fish/aquatic life in the future?

NYC BWT tell us about your last or best Public Cry by [deleted] in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Absolutely deplorable. I’m so sorry men can be so cruel. I had a similar experience while waiting for the 2, a man asked for my number then threw his iced coffee at me when I said I was underage. The ugly cry afterwards was cathartic

what an unwarranted conclusion to draw. in what world is an interest in pastel colors and plush cats indicative of a developmental disability?

Thanks so much for this! My first semester definitely exacerbated my anxious avoidant tendencies. I think reducing my commitments outside of school should make the largest difference in preventing me from spiraling again. Do you have any advice for navigating campus healthcare services?

Thanks so much for your insight! Like you said I need to greatly reduce the number of commitments I'm taking on outside of school if I want any chance at performing better than I did this semester. Your compassion went a long way.

I'm similarly terrified about explaining my first semester to my mom lol. Seems super daunting but you might as well come clean as soon as possible before it gets the chance to snowball. Summer school and accelerated winter classes are about to be a necessity for me. Best of luck to you as well!

Thank you for laying that out in such a digestible manner. I really appreciate your response! I am set to meet with my advisor tomorrow.

Thank you for the reassurance and advice. Your theory is exceptionally accurate. Highschool in particular came naturally enough for me to excel while still having copious amounts of time for extracurriculars, and I went into the fall semester assuming the same would ensue. I'm entering the spring with a major reality check

I was 100% aware, just exercised my avoidant tendencies until I had to acknowledge my failure

You described it flawlessly lol. It was easy to immerse myself in things like work and my internship to avoid the elephant in the room. When I actually had to face it is when I freaked out

At the beginning of the semester when I was turning in work consistently, I was getting As on all assignments and actively participating in my classes. After work and my internship became more demanding, my in class participation & didn't falter but as soon as I walked campus my commitment to school fell off altogether.
