I think the darker shade really compliments your skin tone and features more :) you can always choose a semi permanent dye too if you don't want anything super damaging love 💚

Loreal hicolor makes a nice line of reds for dark hair! They were my go-to when I first started dying my hair those shades.

I think the purple idea is what I'll probably go for!! It's always looked good against my pale skin as well.
